And I think most people will acknowledge that. But I also believe a lot of those same people would argue we could/should do better.

I think his ceiling was exposed this year. And if his defense sucks, that’s on him as well. He hired Grantham. He might be a good X’s and O’s Coach but he’s a fyckin’ doofus. If he pulled some of the stuff he and wifey have done as a gaytor at the U, this board would crash with all threads trashin’ his goofey ***.

A majority of Miami fans have said the same thing. I know I'm in that camp - I still stand with that if we had started TVD or Kosi that we likely are a 4/5 win team. Most of Mullen's success at UF has been because of Trask being exceptionally good as he's had almost 2 years of him at UF. And at one point, he had Franks starting over him.

Mullen has gone 10 wins, 11 wins, and SECCG (8 wins shortened season) in his first 3 yrs at UF. He did f up w the clock Mgmt down the end, though....but he gave Bama a helllllluva game when Bama is a superior team. He’s now 2-0 in NY6 bowl games.

Listen; I absolutely hate UF, and I go back & forth between my hate of UF & ND....but Mullen has done a great job at UF. If he was here, we might not beat Clemson, but we for sure dominate the Coastal.

Exactly. And people are even making a mistake in portraying the environment in Gainesville as an apples to apples comparison to Coral Gables. I'm of the mindset that a guy specifically like Mullen that ends up underachieving at UF would reallllly suck here. His personality alone would be exponentially more a liability recruiting (especially locally) without the cover of SEC bags and "luster".
