Would LOVe to believe this, but its not true. No football coach, at any level, ever, goes out on a field with 50-80 guys in pads, with a " whatever happens, happens" attitude. Never. Even the worst go out with a desire to win the game. Its the DNA. And if that IS what happens now in the " new bowl" season, than wouldnt Rutgers likewise feel the same ? THen how to explain the clear and obvious difference in DESIRE and willingness to hit?#1 the bowl games mean nothing...and EVERY player that gives a ****, knows that.
Bowls used to, but now they just dont.
The emotional fans need some ******* medicine.
Those that actually know something about the game, can see that were making a change.
Does anyone actually believe that's what our D-line will look like next year?
Does anyone actually believe that's what our secondary will look like next year?
What about the o-line?
All signs (recruiting, redshirts, etc.), would lead one to believe we're heading in the right direction.
Calm down.
We cameo out flat, and this 100% on the Staff. Anyone who has coached( and i have) knows that. Effort is contagious and if a kid is half assing it, you bench him. We didnt.
