All of her predictions are placing emotion into situations that she has no control over. I guess its part of the exercise and the fun of the preseason but I hate these kinds of takes. I prefer hearing why they could beat Ole Miss from an X&O's perspective or some kind of hidden advantage they can exploit or why its a bad matchup for Ole Miss, if there are any. D$ tried to make a few of those points and they were legit.

All of this... "They're going to win because Urban Meyer is there" ... these kids weren't alive or cognizant of when Urban won championships at UF. "They're going to win because they won at Auburn the week before" (makes zero sense).

Emotional logic and wins/losses trailing big wins/losses are fun to talk about but almost always inaccurate this far in advance. You call a trap game out the week before, fine. Trying to predict it before a single snap is just silly talk.

Lost a lot of players to the draft+LSU and coordinators. I'd say their starting DL + Chambliss and Lacy are their main strengths. OLine I guess is experienced. But just how much offensive success will they be able to replicate without Lane+Weis?

Florida lost 2 defensive starters to Ole Miss plus Ole Miss brings back their 3 best players on the DL and added starters from FSU, Georgia, Cal, and West Virginia in the back 7 alone.

They'll be better on defense than a year ago.

Trinidad and Lacy will abuse that Gator team. It might be a 45-35 type of game.
 
Florida's OL is too small to be effective in the SEC. Philo will be killed, which might be the best thing for them. They should have went with Trammell anyway to get the mobility to survive back there.

LT to RT they go 305, 308, 295, 308, and 320. Overall relatively little talent in that group either aside from the Center from GT.

Great RB and WR trio. Gonna be wasted with a below average OL and mediocre QB. I'll say 6-6. 8-4 ceiling.

Well I don't really care, but I don't think it'd be that big of a shock or anything for UF to beat Ole Miss this season.

i agree her logic was silly on Ole Miss. she picked UF to lose to Mizzou the next week with equally silly logic.

i think she accidentally represented my feelings on the SEC pretty well - the implications of the SEC being overrated are that an average SEC team (UF) can beat most other SEC teams on any given day. But i think citing baugh and VB3 for potential wins would be a lot more logical than urban meyer voodoo.
 
Gaytors will be on a quest for another four win season and we'll all..including this adorable threesome.. be here in support.
 
These will get more funny and entertaining once FSU and UF are both 2-2 coming out of Sept with absolutely nothing to play for and having to start talking about next season and hoping they can get to 6 wins for a bowl game while having to listen to D$ talk up our undefeated season going into the ND game.

I've seen this particular phenomenon my whole life.

Good-looking Gator girl...talking sports...it kinda sucks you in, her articulate nature fools you into thinking you know something...

BUT LOOK AWAY...once the spell is broken, you realize that she's just feeding you some copium about how good the Gators are going to be, and you suddenly realize it's all bull****...

Don't fall for it.
