Based on nothing at all, I think our game will be played as scheduled. FSU may need to adjust there travel plans.
As of the new 5 p.m. advisory, Broward County is now under a hurricane watch. The stadium is in Broward County, so I'd think this could change things. I understand that the storm would hit on Thursday, if at all, and the game is Saturday night, but there would be a lot the school would have to consider when deciding to play the game. I'd guess that the stadium would have be evaluated by engineers if Broward does take a direct hit. Hosting a game takes a large amount of resources, with police, fire, etc., and if there is concern about storm recovery, that's a huge pull on resources. The school may decide to wait until later this week, but this westward shift and new hurricane warnings are not good, IMO.
If this track continues the game is not happening...
It's like we've got retarded clowns on here, cheering for the game to be cancelled. Just stupid.
This is not looking good... South Florida has been overdue and it looks like were getting a bad one...
because that's how they work
Look let's get a couple things straight. I want this game to happen as much or more than anyone does! All I'm doing is giving some opinions on weather. The right front quadrant is indeed the most intense part of a tropical system. That being said if you think being on the west side of a system is a cake walk you're sadly mistaken. The westward shift in track was caused by one model run but the overall guidance has been shifting west for about 30 hrs. I hope that the models shift to a OTS solution. If you don't think that hurricane Matthew isn't a threat to Saturday night you have your head buried in the sand.

Strength of the storm is very tight, so if the hurricane doesn't make FL landfall, then life in South Florida will hardly be affected, except everyone will have more water, gas, and pork'n'beans than they know what to do with.
I lived in South Florida for about 25 years, and on its current track, I think the game gets played.

Do you live in Florida? This certainly isn't our first rodeo. Weather forecast for Saturday is partly cloudy with 30% of rain. Miami will have amazing weather after the storm is gone like every Hurricane that has passed us by. Worst case we get tropical storm weather on Thursday. It will be long gone come Friday night.
Unless this guy shows up, we're good!

10% chance of this game happening
If it were to get canceled when would it be moved to? Do you think?
