Agree! The 12Z run was not pretty. It was delayed in coming out by initialization issues. The 18Z GFS and the 0Z model suites will tell the tale. Expect a westward shift from the NHC with the 5:00 pm update.

Storm will be in the Carolinas by Saturday. Florida is also on the west (drier) side of the storm, so unless there is a direct hit on Miami, I think the point is moot.

As of the new 5 p.m. advisory, Broward County is now under a hurricane watch. The stadium is in Broward County, so I'd think this could change things. I understand that the storm would hit on Thursday, if at all, and the game is Saturday night, but there would be a lot the school would have to consider when deciding to play the game. I'd guess that the stadium would have be evaluated by engineers if Broward does take a direct hit. Hosting a game takes a large amount of resources, with police, fire, etc., and if there is concern about storm recovery, that's a huge pull on resources. The school may decide to wait until later this week, but this westward shift and new hurricane warnings are not good, IMO.

I have been looking forward to this game for awhile. I have 40+ people coming to my tailgate including out of towners, I just do not think it looks good.
