State of Emergency-NOAA Link in OP

Driving in from Orlando is going to be such a ****ing *****. The turnpike is going to be all sorts of ****ed.

Go west and ride the coast down. It will probably take the same amount of time when you account the speed of the car in rain. Thats what some of my buddies are doing that are coming from UCF and FSU.

Yeah, seriously. There is a thing called I-75.

While it's not a terrible idea 350 some miles is certainly not 230 miles.

Though if worst comes to worst I'll ****ing swim to the game. I'm not missing it for the world.

An hour and a half isn't worth driving in that type of weather imo, but I ain't gunna tell you how to live

Don't panic

Absolutely no reason to panic, of course even if it was going to be a direct hit, only low level functioning people panic. Adults prepare, they don't panic.

Who the fūck asked you? It was actually a serious question about why that particular model. As in, did the poster have some knowledge that made that model more believable than the others. Are you always this feeble-minded that you can't comprehend a simple question?

Lmao holy **** buddy take a xanax

GFY - why do you care?

lmao how are you this mad on the internet

Looks like I've got a new fan. You like following me around and trying to figure out my moods? DM me and I'll send you an autographed pic.

PM sent thank you so much!

The most important question which hasn't been been mentioned as far as I could tell... Will the outer bands be in Miami during the game?

Really was hoping we could air it out against them as it's a strength, pouring rain could hurt us

The storm is going to be in or off the coast of North Carolina during the game. So unless this is the largest storm in the history of storms...No.

Doubt it. Storm is in Virginia by kickoff.

06Z GFS run has shifted east a bit. Hope the trend continues!

Why single that one out? There are dozens.

Yea, seriously, why be positive.

On an unrelated note, I always find myself sh1tposting on this board while under the influence of my nightly dose of xanax. Odd thing I do.

Nah I def hear you bro.

I was originally planning to get up *** early Saturday drive down and just stay the night after the game :\

Storm looking like it should be off the coast of Daytona by about 8am Friday.... so I'm hoping that'll give time for them to clean up the 'pike a bit and I can just make my way down Friday night, take my time, and not worry about it.

****kkkkkk. I appreciate the suggestion though for sure.

...this is just prep for the at 6 thats about to whoop some fsu **** . weather people are hyping this up to get eyeballs on the tv sets and clicks on their website. i am not saying not to pay attention, but my buddy who use to work for weather.com was mystified how much hyping was going on with storms in order to get mass media hysteria. 90% of the time when the weather people say the storm is serious, he said it aint. same as the global warming hoax.

South Florida is officially on tropical storm watch, if they predicted it was going to be bad they would've made it a hurricane watch and cautioned everyone to spend an excessive amount of money at home depot for supplies they probably won't ever use

Latest track doesn't look any closer to FL, so that's good news. Will be long gone by Saturday afternoon, and as of now, there shouldn't be any significant damage whatsoever in SoFla.

Our game should be just fine.

Can't say the same for the rest of the ACC. All I care about is Miami, but I was looking forward to Notre Dame @ NC State and Virginia Tech @ UNC...can't imagine those go on as planned if the current projection holds.

Politicians love to panic because the worst thing that happens if the storm doesn't hit is "It's better to be safe than sorry, and we would rather be overly cautious than unprepared."

If the politicians don't panic and get the rubes all worked up, and the storm causes even one branch to break one window then the media puppet heads would crucify the politicians for not being careful enough.

Politicians never lose by overreacting and stirring panic. Sad thing is when dopes in charge of major events feed into the baseless panic and hysteria by cancelling everything too quickly and without justification.

Just look at the models and what is actually happening. That thing was a short distance from Montego Bay earlier today and producing winds of a whopping 15 mph. Unless you're right in that 30 mile radius of the eye or in the nearby northeast quadrant you're going to have minimal weather.

neither does the news.

It's great actually. Put those teams on a short week.

For all you non- Floridians out there... a hurricane isn't that serious unless it a 4-5 and making a direct impact. Now for the concern of power, it gets serious with a Cat 3 and above but only on direct impact. The area where the stadium is in and most likely the area that feeds the power to the stadium are in area where just the Outer Bands of the hurricane is supposed to hit. So as long as the hurricane doesn't linger through Friday and Saturday then we should be good to go
