Stanford @ Miami -29.5

I honestly think coming out and dominating this game early would be a huge step up from last season.

2024 ACC Halftime Scores:
Va Tech: 17-24
Cal: 10-21
Louisville: 24-17
FSU: 17-7
Duke: 17-21
GT: 10-14
Wake: 20-14
Syracuse: 21-14

Really terrible looking back. Without Cam this team could have been a 6 win team.

I rewatched the highlights from that GT game and man, does that remind me of the Louisville debacle we just had. You just felt like you had no shot to win the game. Like the universe wanted you to lose.

I was there , they looked flat from the jump and were never in the game although we had a chance to win at end much like UL game with 1 massive proviso Brohm out coached Super Mario
 
Lock in!!! Get the W and blow this team out. UM has plenty of white board material.

Too much talent for this team not to respond in a big way. It sucks to see us not play for a full four quarters. Its time for Mr.Hyde to come out and stop p$$$$ footing and show what a monster this team can be.

If we are up by 21, I just don't see Mario leaving Beck in the game. I just don't. No way we win by 30+. Take Stanford with the points.

Show ya ticket if you took Stanford and the ML lying people....Let's see it and watch it lose
 
Is it sac-religious to bet your team to win but that Stanford will cover? I’m not a huge bettor and am crazy superstitious but am not allergic to free money either.

30.5? We're favored by 30.5? I'm not even sure we can score 30 points with this offense.

Agreed but what in Mario's entire history as a head coach have you seen to make you believe that we will ever "Clean up the penalties."?
 
Stanford is arguably the worst program in CFB right now. Playing with all kinds of back ups and as much as I hate FSU, even they had no business losing to this team. This game should be no different than playing Bethune-Cookman.

the way we approach big leads, i think they cover regardless. well win comfortably but well go kill the clock mode once we go up 3 scores. i have it as a 28-3 game in the fourth and stanford maybe gets a junk td at the end 28-10.

Miami's team total is 38. Would be pretty concerning to only score 28 points in this game.

If I've learned anything watching college football for 30+ years, its that you really can't carry any assumptions from one game to the next, but still, the offense has sputtered at times this year, and if we end the game with 28 against this team, we're in some for serious stress the next 5 weeks.

I expect Miami to move the ball very well and also get points from short fields after the Stanford offense does next to nothing. If we're getting the ball at the 40 or in plus territory all night and only score 28 points....yikes.
