Stacy coley putting in work

He may have first or second round talent but as it is now I see a steal in the fifth round. Cannot see a jump to the first round, maybe the second round. It only takes a little to drop yo *** in the draft. It takes a **** of a lot to undo impressions.
I bet you had Phillip Dorsett going in the 1st round right?

Haha. I like for Canes to go high. I don't recall saying where I thought he would go. I didnt see first round for him though. I probably would've said 3rd round. So where are you drafting Coley?

Maturity is the only issue with him. If he dedicates himself this season and shows that he will go hard more than he has in the past, then the sky's the limit. There aren't that many guys in the game with more natural fluidity than him.

Let's see what he does this season and how he tests, but if Phil Dorsett is a 1st round pick, then this guy's a 1st round pick because he's got way more game. Only thing that would stop me from picking him in the 1st would be maturity issues. That's why this season is so important to him.

But you wouldn't have taken PD in the first round right? Look Id rather Coley ball out and be a first rounder. It should mean we did better as a team. Im not taking a wideout in the first round with maturity issues AND he hasn't been a healthy dominant player.

Lets say he stays healthy. Lets say he runs a 4.3 or 4.4something 40 at next years combine. What does he need to produce to be a first rounder? 75 receptions and 10-15 tds? I can't put him in the same class as sammy watkins or mike evans. Hope Im wrong though.

Maturity issues? He hasn't had a problem or been suspended since he has been at Miami..... You can say he has been a role model player considering what was said about his attitude in highschool...

Based on what Ive seen on the field and on this board is we have two unemployed general managers from the Cowboys or Raiders who fell in love with speed and measurables. I also don't think Franchise was saying Coley has been in trouble, just that he needs to mature by physically getting stronger and healthier and more mature like playing like the all star that is within him.

Coley's ceiling is incredibly high. Higher than Dorsett.

He's shown what he can do with great catches, speed, runs after the catch, returns, stepping up in big games (FSU). There's nothing he's not capable of doing.

The questions is will he consistently do it. Can he avoid injury, play tough, improve his concentration to avoid the bad drops, and step up to be a leader?

He has all the physical tools and skills, but so many of his question marks appear to be mental. Will he challenge himself mentally to become great? I'll bet that he does.

Lack of production and sour grapes from Stacy imo is a direct link to Dale and his 6 play playbook. Stacy had a very solid freshman season while under Fisch. I think he should've been used more that 1st year but Goldie liked to hold cats back due to his need to play coal shovelers. The moment he committed to this school he was the best at the position and it still holds true.

Richt calling plays i can see Coley doing what E.G. Green, Snoop, Warrick @FSU and Terrence Edwards @UGA did. 55 to 70 catches, 1000 plus yards and 10 plus TD with an avg of 17 to 20 yards a grab. Coley has a staff around him now that can get him where he needs to be.

Coley reminds me so much of Jeremy Maclin its scary. If he can put it together I think he could be at that level.

Coley never played under Fisch

Stacy and AB both came in 2013. Both were tremendous high school prospects with NFL potential. Wonder what they'd look like now had Richard coached them these past 3 years.
