Louisiana kid and SEC-to-SEC transfer rules apply, so less schools to fend off. Came as a safety, but 6’2’’ provides great length and he ascended rapidly up the depth chart when they moved him to corner.

Initially committed to TCU before Patterson left, then switched to Vandy.

Semi-serious question - is there a NCAA roster minimum? At what point do you look at not being able to safely field a team?

Pretty sure I heard/read somewhere that he said this would be his last season at Miami. Now of course things change and he has another year of eligibility after this year, but with how things have played out so far I would not be surprised if this is either a season where he puts up numbers good enough to enter the draft or he decides to transfer.

it is all speculation but it is logical that this should be his last season in college.
