Guy has never been able to stay healthy. Whoever gets him, is probably only getting him 4-6 games next year.

It's been his MO since high school.

Now here is a grown man with a solid career. He has been on a team that stinks. He has 1 last chance to go all in and looking at his bio dealt with come crap early in his career losing his dad and a knee injury.

Not saying this guys makes us Acc Champs. But for a big middle of the line plug he seems worth a look. Malone and this kid give us two big bodies
 
What transfer QB is going to transfer away to be a backup somewhere else? Is the thought that we can get “quality depth” from the transfer portal when everyone is leaving because they are likely already depth pieces?

Would take him 100%. That's a big dude.

After watching that spring game it's pretty clear kids aren't just being forced out of there. They're leaving for other reasons - no one in their right mind is cutting the biggest dude on the team that's a solid player too... even crazier to do that when you look smaller than a D2 program in the trenches.

A QB who is stuck under a young starting QB with several years to play or a FCS QB looking to play P5 ball. We have a QB coming off a season ending injury who essentially missed half the season. TVD is very likely done after the season and we can offer them a shot to compete in 2024 and be the backup now.

Only thing we can do is find a decent 2nd/3rd year guy that's already a backup and sell him on being the guy if TVD goes down and then competing for the job next year.

I'd try to get Ben Finley from NCST - he can play and he's well coached.

Brady Allen that just left Purdue could be a good one as well. It's at that stage of the year that it's hard to go somewhere else, unless you already played for the OC, and expect to start somewhere regardless of how good you are. Hard to pick up an offense that fast.
