And this is why I hate the CFP...they put those tiny corporate logos in there, as if any of us have instant recall of WHAT THE BOWL IS based on a microscopic logo...
Is it the upon further review podcast?
This is almost exactly how I see it, except I have Juan over Joel (only because he is currently injured) and Jaden over Ben, this staff loves Jaden and I think he make a big jump in his development.
Go back and watch the games. In the 24 season he actually allowed the least amount of sacks and pressures on the team. When he gives up pressure it’s almost always on a stunt. He gets lost passing off defenders, he will be locked in his man and never even notice the stunt or blitz. On an island at Tackle he won’t have to face those type of stunts and blitzes. But if you watch him on a one on one block he is almost always beating his man, there is not a single snap that any can point to where he just gets hisFor some reason McCoy worries me the most, seemed to struggle pass blocking alot inside from my untrained oline eyes but then look at pff and it agrees with me.. I have a hard time believing sight unseen a guy who had issues inside is gonna kick out and not struggle with quicker guys in space.. The coaches love him tho (maybe for run blocking because he is decent there to me)
I have always been a big fan of Bell but Cantwell as a true freshman is better than he was when he arrived as a JR from JUCO. Jackson’s strength numbers today as a freshman are better than Bell’s as a SR. He was the #1 recruit in the nation for a reason. Go read FrancisSawyer post about True Freshman and look at those numbers he posted about Jackson.I said in another thread..if samson and buchanan are our guards i think we will have better guard play. Tackle play and center are the true unknowns
Huh? Are you trolling? He gave up the most pressures on the whole oline and sacks. Seems to really struggle with power and stunts. Like he gets completely lostGo back and watch the games. McCoy is this years version of Mesidor, a complete baller who has played out of position for the sake of the team. This guy will be a top 3 round draft pick as a tackle
Well he did beat up his coach at FSU so it’s safe to say a ***** or two are loose lol.Is he an unhinged psycho like Jakobe?
Not trolling at all, in 2024 he gave up 0 sacks and lest than 5 pressures, he lead the team in fewest pressures allowed. Yes he gets beat on stunts but he will not see stunts at tackle or as much power.Huh? Are you trolling? He up the most pressures on the whole oline and sacks. Experience is a big factor, hs to college and juco to college is different but it wouldn’t surprise me if cantwell is just as good.I have always been a big fan of Bell but Cantwell as a true freshman is better than he was when he arrived as a JR from JUCO. Then he must of regressed last year because he was main one getting beat. down to last snap of season.. and no one is saying bench him, just he needs to step it up and be leader, he has room for a ton of improvement in pass proNot trolling at all, in 2024 he gave up 0 sacks and lest than 5 pressures, he lead the team in fewest pressures allowed. This is no different than Mesidor at DT in 24. This time last year everyone want him in the bench, McCoy will be this seasons version of Mesidor.
I have a new favorite playerWell he did beat up his coach at FSU so it’s safe to say a ***** or two are loose lol.
Question for you as someone that played…were those balls so poorly thrown that a DB really can’t defend them? How does the inaccuracy account for the result?Maybe we just have a very different take on what occurred. None of that was on Becker. That was entirely on O'Connor and his lack of physicality & awareness. Can blame heatherman and his position coach for allowing him to bail pre snap all throughout the season. But him not making plays on two poorly thrown balls on long 4th down conversions was basic as can be.
Gaby with some very zesty updates today
Yeah…
Thornton is going to wish he signed elsewhere, cause Dunnigan is taking that nickel spot and Poyser/Fitz back deep. Kid is too talented to keep off field. Thornton will play in certain packages, but JJ is going to be a dude early. Depth is a beautiful thing. We are getting to where we are supposed to be.
Lance: It's a beautiful sunny day outside in Miami!I’m not sure Pete makes it to the season at this rate. Today’s pod was unlistanable
Made it so awkward
Yes they're obviously is those moments as a DB where if your technique is so strong you're exactly where you're supposed to be some things can't be accounted for. But that's definitely not what happened with those. He was simply so far out of the play in each situation knowing that we have the line that we have and the pressure we were getting on the quarterbacks him bailing like that was the stupidest thing ever in each situation. Not to mention his alignment and where he chose to play the ball. It was entirely on him.Question for you as someone that played…were those balls so poorly thrown that a DB really can’t defend them?
