Not that I ran many of them, but my simple recollection is that a "flag" and a "corner" route are the same route. A corner/flag route is basically a deep route with a diagonal cut towards the sideline (or the corner of the endzone, hence "corner"). A post is a deep route with an inside diagonal cut (towards the goal post, hence "post"). There are variations, stems, and double move routes (like a post corner), but generally a post is towards the middle of the field and a flag/corner is run towards the sideline. But I guess if you are far enough from the endzone, on a long enough play, a post route might take a WR towards the opposite sideline...
