Was there today. Some will know me from Shadow’s board. Some grades ( A = elite unit, B = top 2 or 3 in the conf. C = conf. Avg, D = bottom of conf. F = season wrecker) QBs -- C and trending up -- all 3 had some really good throws, Martell is a real threat on scrambled and Perry is obviously getting real coaching for the first time. Martell needs shotgun to be effective. Enos is making a difference here. RBs -- B-. Deejay and Cam are good to very good backs. Cam potentially a touch better than that. NEED Lingard's speed here. Have to have a game breaker back here. OL -- C- but trending upwards. Surprisingly competent at times. Donaldson looks good at center and our starting five are solid starters. Depth is rough. Might have found one in Nelson -- **** good feet. STs -- C-. Oof the kickers were rough. Hard to gauge. WRs -- B. Osborne is going to be a productive pro player. Very good hands, knows how to get open and routes are crisp. Easily the best WR on the field today. Osborne and Thomas should be difficult to scheme against. Payton will contribute and Pope looks better. Hard to believe Payton is only 17. Still too many drops but this is a good collection of talent. TEs - B+. Now we are talking. Mallory was really good today. He and Brevin are both all acc caliber players. AND Irvin the younger looks like a D1 player. He has worked hard on his body. Good for him. Will do Defense when I get home. |
