I don't think Terry Roberts is fully healthy, he was a lot better player at Iowa who had the #2 ranked scoring defense in college football.

Emory outplaying Brown is very troubling.

Stop with the "he needs time to develop".

Brown, while the story can change, isn't tracking to be a consistent QB1 or QB2.

Not much can be done at moment, but I suspect developing him further in QB room will turn out to be waste of time.

Maybe. Don’t know yet. I think it’s always been contingent on fixing his accuracy because the athleticism was worth the flier

with that said, I do think people are too worried about the spring game showing. we've had our DC and OC for a little over a month. We'll be way more in sync by fall camp across the board, not to mention some additional transfers

Of course it’ll be a different team in September but…. We’ve heard that tale before…

And development time….

We ****ed that up by the mulligan year. It was to be:
2022: TVD/Jake develops and TVD goes in the draft
2023: Jake/Brown development/Rashada level QB recruit

But in 2022, Mariattis ruined the entire room from both an ingame and development perspective by all accounts

Guidry dropped 8 into coverage quite a bit last night, IE prevent defense, that can explain why Brown (& Williams) struggled to throw the ball underneath. Most of our success came from throwing the ball outside the hashes & those deep balls to Williams & George. Also we should've ate when Guidry went to 3 underneath.
 
Agree with Kiffin, I hate the long huddling after every play. We showed more tempo in the second half and that's what we should stick with. I would love for us to snap the ball with at least 20 seconds on the clock every snap, **** I would settle for 15 seconds.

I always think it’s really tough to evaluate too much after a spring game. Defense has the very real advantage of familiarity with the playbook which is huge. With that said, I was impressed w the d, especially the DL. Agree that the the older Mauigoa bro is going to be huge for us this year. He’s head and shoulders above the other LBs. Bain will be a freshman all American

Offense was not very impressive to me when you consider how many sacks we had that went uncalled, most of the big plays we had wouldn’t have happened in a real game, and drives would’ve stalled too. With that said, I’ll give the OL a break since they were missing key guys and D is familiar with the plays.

I was also impressed with the first impression of Emory williams. You could see the difference between him and Ray Ray and everyone else. Guys who prepare like they do are really rare at their age and preparation leads to success especially if you have the physical attributes required to succeed

Nyjalik Kelly is going to feast, Colby and X looked great, and Skinner seemed more prepared. Idk how well do next year, but this team can be special when Mario’s recruiting classes are upperclassmen

Pretty much. That 1st year did a lot of damage on many levels.

Did you see the teams we lost to last season? Expecting us to beat who we should is a stretch. I’m beginning to think 7 wins is our ceiling.

If Mario can still recruit with a two more years like that we’ll be a 9-10 win team by 2025.
