Flashing but not starter-level consistency. He can help, especially on jet sweeps and the like. Thanks D$ How has Brashard been doing?
To be fair if the singular goal was to not get injured they’d lock them in the dorms all spring.
The goal is to develop.
I was never crazy about him but he showed good technique and made some nice plays in coverage. It was nice to see a cb get their heads turned around.I thought Daryl Porter looked good as well.
IMO, we should move Jaden Harris to Outside CB (either Field or Boundary), then move DP Jr to Inside Nickel Corner.
Add a Safety to pair up with Kam & use James Will as a Hybrid/STAR.
Add a Speedster WR to go with Young, X & George
Add 2 OL’s (OT & OG)
Add as many DT’s as we can find.
Another RB would be nice for insurance in case Chaney gets hurt again, but I wanna see what we got with Chris Johnson Jr, his speed & sprinter stride are unreal. Use him as the change of pace back & as a receiver out of the backfield on Screens & flat routes & we might have ourselves a real weapon.

Couch is #0 now. Williams is #20 and didn’t play this spring.Looks like they had Williams in a Hybrid role last night, Washington, too, almost had a nice pick last night.
Oh, one more thing to add:
The singular goal of spring is to not get anyone seriously injured. That’s all. The rest is all fluff. This is a great post and great thread, but in reality, none of this matters at all. The literal only thing that determines if you had a successful spring or not is did you have anyone get hurt?
And I don’t think anybody was injured at any point in spring that would jeopardize their fall participation. Because of that, this spring session was a massive success.
Thanks D
Alot of depth issues will be gone by the fall.
I hate to say it, but Manny did Miami no favors when it came to recruiting alot of positions and its showing up now. I was a big critic of this.
Some guys have mentioned it, but not everything on offense and defense was showcased. I'm looking forward to seeing more in the fall.
Cyrus Moss...I'm glad you brought home up. In Guidry's scheme, Moss can be highly effective. Sure, he needs to gain weight, but he has speed, length, and as someone else mentioned, he can play in space.
There's alot of young talent all over the field. These guys and the vets needs reps in thr new system, and depth needs to come along.
The team isn't there yet, but this season should be light years ahead of last year.
Any word on Cohen or Cooper? I'm sure they were more or less held out for precautionary reasons unrelated to ant serious injury.
