Spring Game Review

I found it interesting that all 3 starting LBs were from last year's class. Eddie Johnson, Denzel Perryman, and Gionni Paul. And they all played well. That's a RS Soph and 2 true Sophomores starting at LB. Of course, Gaines and Buchanan will prob start with Perryman when they return from injury, but IMO that's a great sign that Golden's recruits are really stepping up.

This offense is gonna have to be very opportunistic this season in taking advantage of defenses' mental errors. We don't have any playmakers on that side of the ball. Scott and Dorsett have potential but I want to them take that step in a live game first before I call them playmakers. We're probably gonna need two of our incoming freshmen to make an impact at WR along with Duke getting some snaps everywhere.

Our defense looks like it's gonna be solid all around. If we can get a pass rush we'll be alright. Hopefully somebody can step up on the DL to help Chick rush the passer.
