Attending these events/games and putting on a happy face makes it seem like we're okay with being mediocre. If you can't understand that, you're part of the problem.

Not stating its okay with being mediocre but a fan goes through the good and the bad. Don't come back and support the team when they are doing well. You either support the team or you don't.

Sorry but this is a soft mentality. Showing that we're ****ed off does more good than pretending that we don't suck.

I'll weigh in from Northern California with some non-Canes related things Ive seen recently.

* Students at Michigan marched on the presidents office in order to get a coaching change.
* I saw on sports center two days ago where the two worst teams in the NHL had fans that were actively rooting for their teams to lose so they could land the #1 draft pick. - Some 18 year old phenom coming out in next years NHL draft.
