That schit was empty. Looked like a bad HS game. South side of course had most of the people. E and W end zones were EMPTY!

North side was spartan to say the least.

How many people do you think were there? It looked bad, but there must be an embargo on the press mentioning it or publishing any photos since there has been no mention.

I know one of the guys who was keeping track of attendance, and he said there were 480 to 510 people there. Couldn't get an exact number because it wasn't a ticket event.

That last sentence is just completely made up.

We made a 20K facility look about as empty as a 70K facility last spring from the pictures I've seen, and no one with university issued press credentials says a word. If really as few as 500 people were at the largest public off season event for the football program that should be newsworthy.

It's their typical nonsense. Make up some laughably ridiculous conspiracy theory for everything. No press comments about attendance at a spring game? "The press was embargoed from commenting on attendance". Someone disagree with the overemotional, childish ranting and behavior? "Those who disagree must be plants paid by the university." A past player says something negative about the fan behavior or positive about Golden? "They must be trying to protect their access to the program but really they don't feel that way."

So Al Golden told the university NOT to release stats from the Spring Game - something that was confirmed and reported by a reputable site - yet you think the idea that they are trying to hide their embarrassing attendance numbers is outlandish?

You're finally getting your wish. There's only a couple hundred idiots left. Everyone else is spending their Saturdays elsewhere. Congrats!

I don't give a **** if it's a spring game or not, that **** was awful. Gar-bage.

1. O-line is suspect
2. No innovation on offense. None.
3. Very few play-makers, and the couple we do have, we don't find ways to get them the ball in space.
4. Pedestrian athletes all over the place.
People gonna learn this coming season. It's shocking how easily people delude themselves about this guy (Al golden). Someone should post Bamas, LSUs, Ohio states spring game. I'm willing to bet it wasn't some garbage display of football as some have stated they witnessed yesterday.

Not for nothing, but I personally know players who have said positive things about Golden and our program's direction in the public, only to turn around and say the exact opposite while behind closed doors. So like it or not, there is a lot of truth to the latter statements.

Intelligence. Some posters don't have it.

The idea that the university has the power to prevent media outlets from making comments about low attendance, and that there is some conspiracy where they are forcing those media outlets to suppress information, is laughably ridiculous. Very different from not releasing their own data.
