Mario gonna be busy running from one unit to another all spring….He started this Merry-Go-Round so he’s got to take up the slack until he gets it stopped by hiring coaches to coach these units…🛴🛵🛺
If you went to any games last year and was there for the pre-game warm ups, you would of seen Mario spend the pre-game with one position group.

This is sounding like a great excuse as to why we end up 5-7 again this year.

That's not gonna work.

ANY Head Coach worth his salt would have an ongoing list - a list of every suitable coordinator that is successful, and every position coach that is proving themselves every day.

This is BS!

This is a major supply chain breakdown. Mario should have known this coaching staff wasn't IT by the fourth game last season - and started the replacement endeavors immediately.

The arduous interview process of his didn't detect the real teurds last season - so what makes him think another long, drawn out interview process is going to work THIS season?

I know if I were a hot stuff coordinator or position coach - I would bother to interview - I'm not wasting all that time in my life. If the employer can't make a determination without getting a top secret clearance - then his instincts suck - and I don't want any part of it.

If he's this slow to accomplish what should have already been accomplished - how fast will his thinking be in a game? A tight game? A big game?

Ho li crap.

All valid points and legit questions. Another thing. We heard all last season and post season about what an arrogant jerk Addae was/is and how he was on the way out. I take it that he has been given a reprieve. Is Guidry going to bring anyone else in or are we done after hiring Derek Nicholson at LB coach? DVD to CB? Joe and Rod stay put? Jason Taylor? Are we done on defense with coaches? Now that Harris has been hired for RB coach is WR coach the last spot? I have to think that if it was Galloway that it would have been done by now. What in the Sam **** is going on here boys?

Exactly my sentiments.

Mario seems to have more female traits than male traits at this point in his tenure. Can’t make decisions quickly, efficiently and effectively, which is not a sign of good leadership.

Guys like Kirby, Sabag, and most other competent HC don’t lallygag when making hires. They know who they want and they get their target more often than not.

Mario is a micro-manager and a control freak. He has exhibited this time and again.

I agree. And take no joy in it.

Like McClellan. Organized. Systematic. But no general.

How do you know anything about his decision making timelines? Seriously. He could very well have made up his mind on the OC and DC early on, continued interviews while they were going through HR protocols (takes time at UM). Same with the RB and WR hires. Hank interviewed just 7-10 days ago. Reportedly UM loved the interview ... so that takes them to the negotiating table ... then ... before any announcements the HR protocols which at UM can take a week. Lighten up ... you are showing "female traits" in your lack of patience to see who he announces.

Ain’t it funny how coaching hire after coaching hire, dudes like us are always called “mopes”, and then when the dust clears everyone that was calling us mopes act like they were calling out the stuff that we were from the get go?

I salute you and the rest of my Cane brothers that are not scared to call out all of the major red flags that we have seen in the first year plus of Mario’s regime.

THE major red flag was the blown hire of Gattis ... nothing else was egregious in any manner. Gattis is gone ... just like Enos was gone after one season and just like the Clemson OC was let go after his first season. Get on with life ... hating can become toxic.
