Why would UM hire Diaz an above avg DC who is an unproven commodity as a HC. This would be the most ridiculous hire considering James job is on the line with this hire and we hired 4 losers in a row since 2001. If this happens, GEEZ...

I don't want Diaz but he is freaking badass DC. Best DC Miami has had since at least the mid 90's and probably since the mid 80's . Guy just gets it . Had Miami as the 2nd or 3rd best D in the nation this year. Sometimes teams scored due to our O turning it over but we rarely let a team go 80 yards on us and we feasted on turnovers. But I don't want a guy who has never been a HC . I would prefer Criostbal big time over Manny.

My hunch is that this Mario stuff is being pushed by Mario’s agents and Mario’s people at the Hecht and his supporters on the board to cause a flood tide of political support for his candidacy. It’s also designed to forclose any look at Babers or Campbell, or Butch.
