They're using leftover engines from the space shuttles that first flew in 1980. I just figured they'd replace the fuel lines and change the filters first.

Artemis I's next launch attempt may not happen until later this year

A second attempt at launching the uncrewed Artemis I mission was scrubbed Saturday after experiencing fueling issues. Future launch attempts may not occur until later this year, like launch periods in September and October, according to an update from NASA.

Best report I’ve seen explaining the situation with the Artemis launch.

I know some of you don’t like CNN, but there’s no politics in this video, and she does a great job of explaining to the layperson what exactly is happening.

Even though I think NASA is starting to get bloated like other government bureaucracies, they still have a lot that they can accomplish, and this Artemis project is important.

I would much rather have it being run by SpaceX or another private enterprise, but these are sunk costs, so they must move forward - safely though.
