South Florida '17- The LBs

View as article
you guys realize there's better LB's that we're connected to right??

If I am part of "you guys" a) no, I'm no "insider", so I don't know who we are "connected to" (whatever that means) b) I don't know how he actually compares to our targets/commitments and c) I was clearly asking D-Money. He was high on the kid, talked about why he was under the radar, and expected his recruiting to blow up. It hasn't and our LB planning may be changing, so I'm curious. Thus my original question.

....I was talking about the guys who posted before and after you today....you asked a reasonable question but the other two were talking about offering him

Zbrod95 this is why I said Diego ***ot could earn an Miami offer at one of the remaining UM camps this summer.

I like Wilder,Miller, and Houston more because they are more athletic but UM's staff is supposedly going in a different direction for 2017.

Go Canes

If these guy can run, then take all you can get. Big men running fast and hitting people cannot be a bad thing. Plus, every one we take is NOT on fsu or UF.

I saw Miller committed to Florida. Did either ***ot or ***an commit to anyone?

Career reviews

Diego ***ot - Signed with Navy. One of the best linebackers in college football. Should be drafted in the first 3 rounds.

DeAndre Wilder - Gave us the greatest interview in internet history. Was poised for great things in Coral Gables but retired due to injury.

James Houston IV - Signed with UF. Suspended his freshman year. Reserve in '18 and '19. Part of rotation in 2020. Transferred to Jackson State & looks like got**** DeMarcus Ware lol. Should get NFL shot.

Brandon James - Signed with FIU. Redshirted first year, status unclear afterwards.

Raven Saunders - Signed with NC State. Played special teams as a true freshman. Dismissed spring 2018 for a violation of team rules. What he has been up to afterwards remains unclear.

Waynmon Steed - Signed with Miami. Has battled injuries since he got here. I'm not gonna say anything else because his dad posts on here & I'm avoiding negative energy in 2022.

Chai Hill - Signed with East Tennessee State. Redshirted 2017. Spent 2018 & 2019 at Jones CC in Mississippi. Signed with Central Oklahoma but the 2020 season was canceled due to COVID so he then decided to sign with the CFL's Edmonton Elks.

Drew White - Signed with Notre Dame. Redshirted 2017. Played sparingly 2018. Has started at LB the last 3 years. Team captain & NFL Draft prospect.

Jamal Gates - Signed with FIU. Redshirted 2017. Has battled injury but is one of FIU's team leaders when healthy. 85 tackles in 2019.
