South beach rentals says....

Any other school in America / that would've been good enough and moved on / but not at Miami, they have a hard on for burying their own players smh **** UM / I only support the fb team / the university of Miami as a whole can suck my *** racist *** ****suckers

You really do not have to remind anyone that you do not support any facet of UM other than the football team - it is clear by your lack of understanding of this issue, your poor logic, a lack of intellectual aptitude, your general poor capacity to succeed in a world that demands an agile, lively mind, your immature and derisive ramblings, your limited IQ, your general demeanor that demonstrates you are a knuckle-dragging cretin, and your lack of mental capacity due, in large part, to a lack of nutrition as a child, having parents that were devoid of genetic scholarly prowess, and an overall insecurity in your ability to find your way in world that forced you to compete against throngs of people who were simply of better genetic stock. Pretty much everything you have written, and by "written" I mean the cave-drawings that you scribble out with a burnt birch-bow in every post, is a caricature of a genetically inferior, dim-witted urban youth who should never be allowed anywhere near a university, let alone a public library. It probably was somewhat cool to write and act as you do in the mid-1990s when the world was keen to embrace the moronic gibberish of the disenfranchised urban pods; however, now we live in a world that has left those dullards so far in the rear view window they are simply scrambling to keep up with civilization once again. You will always be a chaser, always ill-equipped in this dark, scary world, and I will always need my toilets cleaned by neanderthals such as yourself. You embarrass your race, and you embarrass humanity. In finer times, we were able to put down sick animals that gnawed on their own dried ***** or urinated in their water trough...now we must endure people such as yourself and simply sit back and laugh, point at, and make fun of....and I assure you everywhere your ilk goes, those of us who contribute to the world and make considerable money doing it, are laughing at you, you just never knew you were not part of the joke, but rather were the joke.

I've seen a lot of rants on this board. This is one of my favorites.

Miami investigated the matter for months. If this is true it would have been over in ten minutes.

Kids wouldn't have lied, either. They'd have been proud their relatives rented the cars. They also could have produced paperwork, because they'd know they'd need proof. And if relatives DID pay for them, the'd have to be pretty dumb not to have proof of it.

I'm not saying that. The deal is somebody in the UM building needs to learn how to navigate around something like this once it's happened to keep an athlete eligible. See a problem work to solve the problem before it is blown out of proportion. There is always a way.

IMO they do that but the players have to come clean and be honest. Once they get caught in a lie that option is off the table.

I wasn't necessarily picking on you although I did not notice the screen names associated with posts.

Besides, after years of heightened compliance awareness (and still on probation) you still think that folks in the UM building don't know their way around a compliance investigation? That strains credulity.

All that said, it's a moot point. Grace lied during the investigation which goes against NCAA by laws and results in an automatic 1 year suspension.

I get it, but what other top 25 school admits their kid lied. Ultimately it is on the kids. It just seems to me the administration could do way better at navigating this before it gets to this point. But like you said it's a moot point

I don't know the sequence of events but if you're referring to Grace, his lawyer essentially admitted that Grace lied. I don't recall UM ever saying Grace lied although I could be wrong.

I am not sure what that has to do with anything, though. Is UM hyperaware of potential compliance violations? I'm sure.

I have posted this before but nobody responded. What exactly happened with the fight last year to warrant AQM being suspended the ENTIRE year?

He beat up a student bad that had very influential parents to the university and it wasn't in Golden's hands on the punishment. The punishment was decided by the university.

So he got in a fight with another student. I have never seen a football player at a major university get suspended the whole year for beating up a student.
I don't give a sht much how influence the student's parents have. The punishment did not fit the crime. The Shalala disease still infests the school. The school changed presidents, but all those people she put in power around the school still remain. 2 billion poured into the medical center, but were just getting an IPF............:puzzled:

You can't be this stupid. Do you realize that just because someone gives to the University, doesn't mean the school can use the money for whatever they want? In other words, that 1 billion to the medical school is most likely earmarked, as are most major gifts. The athletic department gets to hold on to any money they raise, hence why they embarked upon a capital needs project, in order to get the money needed to build structures like the Schwartz Center, and the soon to be announced IPF. When will the idiots in this fanbase get it through their thick skulls that this isn't a state institution, where kids have to come, because it's the cheapest option around....

In other words, this school is different, and student-athletes won't be allowed to go around doing whatever the **** they want. Kids go into SIX FIGURE DEBT in order to walk across the stage at commencement, and as a result their rights will be respected here. Regular students have been expelled for far less, and Quan was merely suspended despite assaulting someone whose parents have given significant money to the school. This was how he chose to repay the school that gave him a second chance, and DESPITE all of that the school he burned TWICE is allowing him to finish his degree ON SCHOLARSHIP. Yep, us stakeholders should be ashamed of the administration and the University itself.

On the contrary, I'm quite intelligent. I know you cant use the money donated for a SPECIFIC thing for whatever the **** you want to. The point is she put all her time and effort into raising money for the medical center. What did she do for the football program? Did she go in guns a blazing to raise money for it? The answer is **** NO. She went as cheap as she possible could for everything football. Look at the coaching hires...lazy as fck. Look at all these schools around the country without 1 fckn title, running around in their IPF's.

And again my question was never answered. What Power 5 school suspends a football player for a fight the ENTIRE football season. I follow college football, and can't recall another school doing this to a football player. Donna wanted to make UM some Ivy League school in the south, period. UM is a great school, but it will never be fckn Harvard. We have a UF grad, our most hated rival, working in our compliance department...All the schools in this country...a UF grad, really, seriously.

Quan whooped another football player's *** at SLS...IIRC, it had something to do with the guy bumping into His son. MFers tryin' to make it seem like He beat up some rich kid violin player who couldn't throw them hands. AQM should've never been suspended for that BS, happened off campus, this wasn't even a University matter.

I didn't remember the details, but thanks. What school suspends a football player the whole year for this bullsht?

How did Gerald Willis end up hurricane ?
And we can debate how much she raised money for sports but we do have a brand new football facility.

We have taken trouble kids before on transfers, especially talented ones. It just seems once they are officially on board something changes. It's almost like they care more about the players being model citizens than actually winning. Now I don't blame them for protecting the school and dismissing AQM and Grace. But that incident last year with Q was bullsht.

The football facility is great I agree, but why did it take so long? My point is the medical school was first on her agenda. If she would have put 25 percent of the effort in the football program, that she did with the med school, we would have top notch everything for the team already.

Luxury rental place is full of ****. They KNEW they were playing with fire and still did so.

If you are a member of the community you HELP the community not hinder it

Why is this so difficult to understand? College players driving exotic cars is a big no no.

WE ALL KNOW THAT BUT THEY STILL WENT AHEAD.

Administration had NO choice but to act forcefully.

No respect for this rental agency and do NOT believe anything that comes out from them.

And we can debate how much she raised money for sports but we do have a brand new football facility.

Ain't no debate...e-mail has been out since the 60s, She got the job in 2001, & we didn't start soliciting donations via e-mail till 2013. The absolute worst football president in the the history of the school.

Everyone is ****ed at the players and admin (rightfully so)... But what about south beach rentals?? We should go down there and picket until they go out of business, the bum just cost the U so he could star gaze at players.

Off the top of my head. Lagarrette Blount got suspended a whole season for sucker punching another football player after a game.
