Any of these young children with "transgender" thoughts genuinely need access to mental health / counseling rather than expedited access to surgical procedures.

Never understood why the preferred method of treatment is change of anatomy and body chemistry to conform to the disordered self perception vs the attempt to change the disordered self perception to conform to one’s natural biology and anatomy.

But you are accused of abuse and cruelty by suggesting the latter and not the former. Stephen King meets bizzarro world.

Libs on this site aren’t attacking the movie. None of us are saying it is a qanon film (it isn’t) or pushing back at the idea that left leaning media is using scare tactics for its core viewer base regarding the movie.

Libs on this thread are:
-acknowledging that pedophilia is a huge problem without needing to see a movie
-acknowledging that Ballard wants to save kids but he is far from the only one and far from critical in the grand scheme of things
-pointing out that ballard’s reputation is not universally stellar
-clarifying that liberals do not condone pedophilia
-clarifying that not wanting to see this movie does not equate to supporting pedophilia
-clarifying that not all liberals are pedophiles and not all pedophiles are liberals
-pointing out that being conservative does not equate to being against pedophilia
-pointing out that historically, some people who are vocally anti pedophilia are actually pedophiles
-opposing the idea that LGBT is in the same realm as pedophilia

It seems common that fanaticism for this film correlates strongly to having not understood the magnitude of the problem in the first place

Fanaticism for the film comes from actually loving children and caring about their well being.



The least shocking thing about all of this is how the left has acted. Not shocked the left doesn't want to see the film.
