You must be kidding? Saving underage kids .... is all about saving kids period and nowhere is anybody making comments regarding saving "straight" kids or any subset. Talk about agenda driven nonsense.

I'm not talking about who gets saved. I am talking about who gets endangered by the rhetoric in the culture.

When politicians, preachers and pundits go on a rampage vilifying LGBTQ it drives these kids out of their communities and into the street where they are in greater danger of exploitation.

If you can't understand why that is bad, then I can't help you.

Save them all but it would help to stop actually making it worse.

I do. Also, I didn’t accuse him of pedophilia. Read my posts. He has undermined legitimate work and takes credit for missions he has nothing to do with. I assure you there are serious issues with highly questionable motives.

I will say I have family members (multiple) who Have done government related work around this.

The accusation was that he is undermining legitimate efforts for photo ops.

The reason he quit his job is because the government wouldn't let him save children. There had to be a American involved for him to do anything.

This take lacks nuance. Legitimate work requires months and sometimes years of planning to get to the heart of smuggling rings. Running in roughshod to save a few kids has ramifications — loss of life, ability for a smuggling ring to further obscure itself from surveillance, undermining existing investigations and significant loss of tax dollars. Ballard has actually undermined real missions. There’s a reason you won’t hear about it — they are covert ops.

Nobody is saying Ballard doesn’t have a good heart or a set of balls. But it is lazy and uninformed to state the US government — and other governments around the world — are actively trying NOT to do the right thing.

Some list was released with names blacked out.


When one side is saying minor attracted people there is obviously not much being done.

This thread is about young children being kidnapped, sold, violated. No idea how you chose to transition that discussion into "preachers and pundits ... vilifying LGBTQ" individuals. Again, your agenda has nothing to do with the topic.
