AGAIN, and please try to follow here, Georgia was a middle of the road SEC team when Richt got there. BEFORE Richt's arrival, it had been 18 years (EIGHTEEN YEARS) since Georgia had won an SEC title. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT????? 18 years. He has since won it TWICE. HE has won the SEC TWICE, The SEC EAST SIX TIMES, and has been named SEC Coach of the year twice, in addition to having his teams finish in the TOP TEN for 6 or 7 years now.
He's coming off a 12-2 season last year, and BACK TO BACK Division championships.
