What happens after this season is over and richt is fired for a underachieving season yet again?

They absolutely LOVE Richt there. Why, I don't know. Maybe it's his phony southern accent and all his "God" born again Christian stuff.

I've been following this stuff for years, and when an SEC school gets a big recruit, especially from an area where another non-SEC school is dominant (like so. Fla.) I assume it's money, and I doubt that I'm wrong.

We get hit with Nevin Shapiro, mainly small potatoes stuff (although a lot of small potatoes) and the SEC schools continue unabated with their criminal activity, paid recruits, and low academic standards.

Im not mad ..Still a long way till signing day......BUT did he really have to say that he is still a "Die Hard cane Fan" even though he is a dawg...???

"Even though I am going to the University of Georgia, I am still a diehard Miami fan," Michel said. "I just felt like Georgia was where I could have the most success at."

"Miami came by my school and tried to make a big push for me this week, but I shot down all contact with coaches," Michel said. "It will not be too difficult for me to avoid changing my mind. Once I make my decision I am solid with it, and I feel like nothing is really going to change that"

You're with us or against us. As Jimmy Johnson said you can come to Miami and win championships. Or you can go elsewhere and WATCH us win championships.

F#ck him and his fake fan bullsh$t. He's like the fake fans on here who claim to love UM and then find every fake reason in the world to trash us and prop up other *** programs like UGA.

I think his reasons aren't fake, or to use a more appropriate synonym, counterfeit.
My first reaction was like everyone's: "Fuccking ****ssuckker!"
But after cleaning up my drink from the wall and apologizing to my bruised dog I realized it all came down
to a bag of cash, cars, a house and probably some no show jobs for family.

Makes you really respect Duke. In a world of whores he stuck to his convictions.

Sony's a beef stew. A rusty nail. He's a pneumocystis carinii pneumonia victim.

This thing stinks to high heaven, and if ANYONE (and that includes Capt. Al Golden) knows anything about this dude being bought and paid for, then they need to blow the lid off it. I'm sick and tired of these shady motherfckers coming down here and pillaging our turf like a bunch of vikings hopped up on goof balls and getting away with it.

Since when does a guy who supposedly grew up a giant Canes fan, lives in our back yard, is being recruited by the best in the nation in Alshermond Golden leave town? LULZ @ anyone who doesn't smell the rot coming off this debacle. No one in their right mind buys that a middle of the road team that doesn't even recruit down here walks in and takes the top guy down here from us and does it all on the up and up.

I'll say it again: If you have any idea about anything fishy going on with this, then you are OBLIGATED to blow it up. Enough with this silent acquiescence. Quit bending over and spreading.

thats what I'm saying but some folks around here say that it could hurt us to blow this up. LOL

how could it hurt? we aint going anywhere if this **** continues.

As I have said way before this commitment. I don't see anything that great here, and remember, he isn't playing against the top teams in SF. Can't cut even close to what Yearby can do. Cook blows him away with speed IMO. Coley did an awesome job bringing in Yearby. Yearby and Cook do it against some of the best competition in Florida.

Yearby's film is better, IMO. Cuts like Duke and just as fast as S, looks pretty strong too. Doing it against much better teams.

The best thing about Yearby, he is a Cane. Thanks for bringing him in Mr Coley!

Y'all need to stop saying this kid or that kid is getting paid. Start looking at our win loss record. Start there before you try and chase down the money trail. It's April and our recruiting wont stop for any kid we want. Lets win ten games and you will see kids begin to have second thoughts about their ddecisions to leave south Florida. It all comes down to winning and losing. Everything else is just bull**** excuse making.

The ******* a CI used to always say "don't say anything, it hurts the kids".

Nonsense. If a kid is getting paid, he's part of the problem. This **** has gone on too ******* long down here. I'm sick of it, and btw, the only reason other SEC teams aren't on him is bc of the fishbowl rules.

Ever notice how it's always ONE sec team on a kid. They have a gentlmens agreement with each other not to outbid once the first bid has been made. in the end it helps the whole conference which is why they do it.

"the fishbowl rules".....if I was a filmmaker that'd be the documentary I'd want to do. ******* sick of these Confederate ********.

don't worry, he is a Cane at heart!

I don't think so. My take on this is that there has developed a strong realationship between Sony and Mark Richt based to a large degree on their shared Christian faith. This is as strong as it gets. I don't want to hear this crap from the high schoolers on this board making lite of this reality. Mark Richt is a quality human being. I remember his role at the U when he committed he helped recruit possibly the class that put Miami on the map. Personally I am a big fan of Mark and resent the flipant remarks about money etc. He would have no part of that. Let's move on and press for Cook and others. If Sony's Miami ties emerge as a factor so be it but I for one think there's a solid chance that he will stick with Richt. By the way there are few that have been a Cane fan as long as I have.

I am mad as **** but I am ready to move on. I dont want to see any highlights of his this year. I dont want to know how he does week to week. I dont want to know how his recovery is. I dont want to see any interviews with him. He did the unthinkable. Turned his back on us and Al. He is nothing to me now. I dont give a **** what he did since he was in the 8th grade. I do not wish him luck. And lets move on to the next RBs on our list and try to sway Dalvin Cook if possible.

You know I really wanted to just respect this kid and wish him the best, but that line about being a miami fan really ****ed me off

Mr. Yearby says hi to this pathetic thread full of entitled ****** posters.

Appreciate those that come to a program infested with ****** fans who cant bother to show for games.

Thank you Duke and thanks to Mr. Yearby.

Boulschitt. I was a die hard fan back when Kehoe was playing, and used to go by and watch practice under Schnellenberger.

And you still don't get it. The SEC head coaches don't touch the money. They NEVER touch the money.

Generally, the Players don't touch the money. The parents get the bag, and then THEY can do what they want with it - a car, whatever.

Richt sits on top of one of the biggest pools of talent in the country and can't win a big game to save his life. Georgia is established mediocrity. That's what they are and what Sony committed to. Unfortunate.
