:rollcanes: so if by some small chance he picks UM. Did someone associated with UM pay him too? For HOPE if he decides to flip to UM after picking uga did someone(booster, "friend of program") associated with UM pay him. Two way street.
 
The Hurricanes are pulling out all the stops to try and sway 5-star RB Sony Michel as he prepares to announce his college decision tomorrow.

Coaches James Coley and Hurlie Brown were at his school virtually all day today, according to Plantation (FL) American Heritage coach Mike Rumph, who is a former Hurricane.

"They're not allowed to speak to the kids (per NCAA rules) - they came by and spoke to me," Rumph said. "They did see Sony in the weight room. He saw them too, but they didn't speak (per the rules)."

Rumph said the coaches spent a good amount of time speaking with him today.

"They're doing their due diligence - him being the recruit they're going after, they wanted to show their presence, that they're around," Rumph said. "They were wondering how Sony is feeling, just general stuff we talked about."

Asked if he thinks having the coaches at the school will make a difference in what Michel does, Rumph said, "I don't know. Miami wants to show persistence regardless of what decision he makes."

Rumph also said that Georgia hasn't visited the school yet this spring.

And Rumph says that whichever school Michel chooses tomorrow won't necessarily be his final destination.

Asked if he thinks the school Michel picks could change by signing day, Rumph said, "Yeah, that's the thing - people are making such a big deal ... whatever he picks the top schools aren't going to quit.

"I committed to UM as a junior, and the top schools turned the heat up a little more once I committed to UM. What this is going to do is it takes a lot of the smaller schools out of the picture."

Asked if he has a prediction for where Michel chooses, Rumph said, "It's up for grabs. I'm not sure what he's going to do."

What's funny, is at one point Sony was supposed to be a silent commit to UM. Wondef what happened, besides Trich leaving.

Im thinking the same thing but hoping that he just confirmed what most already knew that it will come down to Miami and UGA if Sony hasnt told anybody anything yet I dont know why he would end his silence now instead of just waiting until his announcement
