Something we may see this week

This is simple. At this point Richt should know which QB between Rosier and Shireffs he'd choose as the starter. The only unknown Remaining is if Perry, who is clearly the most talented, is ready to start. Therefore the battle should be narrowed to Perry and Shireffs (or Perry).

This isn't complicated in any way. Perry gives us the best chance to win big. If he's not ready it comes down to one of the other two

You're right. It is simple. It's simple to think you should eliminate one of the top 2 performers from a 3 way battle after a week of practice because you want to get the third place guy more reps because that's the guy the fans like.

Whatever way you choose to look at it is fine with me, as long as that happens sooner than later

I'd just like to point out that we are in this situation because our loser of a QB last year skipped his senior season to get drafted in the 7th round and probably spend his first year in the league on a practice squad while we are once again forced to play a very talented kid early before his body and mind are ready for big time CFB. Jacory, Morris, Kaaya and now most likely Perry all kids who would have been far better served redshirting their freshman year. One of the main reasons why we can't win **** around here. Kaaya's crappy decision hurt him and the program.

Our fans trashed the guy while he was here and now want to trash him for leaving. lol

The real problem is neither of the so called vets have stepped up and took the job. That should tell people all you need to know.

Brilliant analysis. It tells people all they need to know, so right now, at this moment what the scrimmage told people is that the two veterans performed at a much higher level than the freshmens. Is that what you meant?

Richt didnt seemed impressed. He said the offense was inconsistent and most of rosier numbers came in situational work.

There are QB competitions all across the country that are still undecided and might not be figured out till game week. At Miami it is a problem that tells us all we need to know.

It was the same shït last year with these dudes for the backup job. Richt said neither stepped up and took that #2 spot. The same shït is going on now.

Yet, there Rosier sits, atop Richt's depth chart, the first day of practice after the scrimmage

1. Rosier
2. Evan
3. Perry

Thats practice drills that richt lets the media speculate on the meaning. What matters is who is getting the actual reps during real practice time.

Stupid is hard to fix.

So is being a püssy.

I'd tell you to stop being an imbecile, but that sub 90 IQ is holding you back.

You're just not very smart and you're doomed to a life of disappointment and failure. I feel sorry for you to be honest.

I feel sorry for you. A dumb person that makes more money than a message board genius.

Only in your dreams.

No, that's not speculation, that is the depth chart for today: It's 1. Rosier 2. Evan and 3. Perry

Just like Finley is now second team safety, surpassing Amari Carter

I think this actually really funny. Shannon attached himself to Jacory and paid the price for it. Golden attached himself to kaaya and it also cost him his job. It just seems creepy that Richt is about to do the same with Perry. Hope it finally pays off. I don't know enough about the situation to truly form an opinion, but I personally liked what I saw from Rosier. I think making it a two horse race between Rosier and Perry would make the most sense. Seems like they have similar skills and both fit our offense well. Sorry Evan. Maybe Richt can help him transfer somewhere to play

Golden attached himself to D'onofrio...that is what cost him his job.

Can you repeat that in English, please?

Why are people making the assumption that rosier has been better than perry through all of the practices? Was he better than him at the scrimmage yes. But at the practices before that? No one other than a few on the board I'm sure knows. To this point rosier has been the most erratic/turnover qb in camp other than his solid scrimmage. That sh*t loses you games and based on what richt teaches him irks the **** out of him

Are you making the assumption that he hasn't? Has one person "who knows" said that Perry has been better in practice? The three you're counting on would love to come here and tell you that he has. You can assume that Perry hasn't been until one of them does. They aren't shy about praising Perry when they can. We know Perry has had issues handling snaps and read option gives. He's put quite a few on the ground. That can lose you games too.

A 4 year qb having the most turnovers in practice at the positions out of the qbs truly competing for the position doesn't concern you?

He also had the most touchdowns in the scrimmage.

Brock, you're missing the point. Nobody here is anointing Rosier the starter. We are just saying eliminating him from the competition coming off an excellent scrimmage, and a poor scrimmage for Perry, seems pretty effin moronic. Even DMoney has renegged on that stance by saying cutting it to 3 is fine.

That's a very common occurrence on these boards.

From everything that you've seen D, who is the best QB on the squad & not just who you expect but based on everything you've witnessed.

Perry is just so much more talented than the upperclassmen. He has the best arm, the best release, he spins it the best, he's the most accurate, he has the most touch and he's the most athletic. It's night and day.

In terms of consistent performance, Evan has had the best camp from what I've seen and heard. Both he and Malik have improved from spring. It's a tough call between those two. Evan is taller, more consistent and doesn't throw stupid picks. Malik has a better arm and is a better fit in the type of offense we're becoming.
If it is so night and day, it would be night and day in camp. It might be in isolation, but so far he hasn't put it together. Not sure why people feel the need to anoint people without results. Wasn't that a staple of Shannon and golden?
