Someone who is making a lot of plays…

It will be interesting how Dawson will keep all of these guys in the rotation and keep them happy. We have a good balance of seasoned WRs and an amazing amount of young talent that is showing up before their time. If everyone stays healthy, it is a nice problem to have for the 25 season.

I said it back when Chance committed. Mario has a "type". Fletcher, Lofton, Robinson, Bain. They don't really fit the normal definition of the ideal traits. But they have that combination of "field awareness", center of gravity, balance and power that more than compensates. And they are overachievers. I think Chance is going to be a good one if he can stay healthy.

No, Ny is playing. Chance is making plays and I am pulling for him. Dawson is a very good coordinator, but creative or veering from his standard plays isn't something he appears big on to me. He will get feedback from his QB on what he likes, but within his playbook. It's not a coincidence that slot guys are always his top receiver. I have to see all these plays for Lofton, CJ, JoJo, the slots, this big rotation, screens and this heavy run game. I am waiting to see this with much skepticism. If he added just a few more routes to his play calling and used all these weapons, it could be nasty. Having 3 WR's 6'1" or taller is a change for us. I believe this O will be big again regardless, just not Top 10.

I WISH SOMEONE, ANYONE would ask him how he planned the offense to evolve from #1 offense last year, what did he do in offseason, what did he think could be improved upon, what was what he focused on going into this season? Something real.. Something in depth.. Our reporters treat him like he had 100th ranked offense or something.. We had #1 offense in all the land and nothing..

I thought his hs tape was better than jojo but jojo obviously has a higher ceiling and was playing both sides until he got to chaminade

If you think most of the credit for the #1 offense in 2024 should go to Dawson rather than Cam Ward, then I have a bridge to sell you.
