I try not to pass judgement on people who are clearly going thru something, so I try to tune out Pete's bad days. You can tell pretty early if he is going to meaningfully contribute or if he's in the dark valley and it's going to be a tough listen/watch. But it's getting harder.
At times it seems clinical and the medication that brings him into balance hasn't kicked in...other times it seems more of a self esteem thing, maybe leading to the need to be right about everything to overcome some perceived slights... perhaps from comments (like this) .... which in turn lead to him lashing out at the more community concerned D$. The extremes in his demeanor, voice, energy... And the manufacturered need to be EXTRA about the wildest things...lean clinical and maybe something he should talk to someone about.
Either way life is too short to spend it doing something you clearly don't enjoy. On his good days, he brings a good balance to the show. But he doesn't seem to enjoy doing it (anymore).
