They had it in Hialeah Park where the Casino is this year. Hadn’t thought about this earlier but Santa’s opens at the beginning of November and runs through January. AD may be a traffic nightmare if they put the stadium at Tropical for atleast a couple games a season, not counting if they ever host a bowl game at Stadium. Really don’t know what they’ll do but I’m sure Hialeah park would love to make it permanent.

At this point, Dorsey is a pipe dream; in reality, it was always the case - except we were the only college football team that he would consider coaching for. People that used that last point - the one about "what other college program would look at Dorsey" were delusional and spewing mierda.

I just hope Mario isn't waiting on his decision, and I don't think thats the case; I'd like to think with how close Ken and Mario are, Ken would at least tell Mario "hey, I've got options to be an OC in the NFL, I'm going to pursue those options".

The odds are not 50/50. He has a relatively known event in Buffalo with positive attributes, in fact some would say exemplary attributes, versus a relatively unknown event in Miami. Odds, imo, 65% he stays, 35% he leaves. If you eat a peanut butter cup, you will live or die. Two events with unequal probabilities. Of course, the odds change if you have a peanut allergy.

Makes sense. I was just going off my 20+ year old memories of the other Metro-Dade parks in the area. I've only been to Santa's Enchanted Forest once and decided not to make it an annual thing.

Is that Hialeah park the same one where the horse-racing track used to be, the one with flamingos in the infield that was in the Miami Vice credits? I remember when the Herald and Times would run stories about how Hallandale was eating into Hialeah's business. Man, that Edwin Pope loved him some horse-racing...
