I don’t believe Cabrera was. Not positive but I’d say no. He maintained a level of excellence without drop off for a long time in the post PED era. He has such a command of the plate and knows how to work a count. Knows the pitchers he faces. Miggy is 1st ballot.

No talk about some of my favorites. Ernie Banks, Whity Ford, Frank Lary, Herb Score, Phil Rizzuto, Al Kaline. Robin Roberts. Could name some more but most here would say who?

Not even sure I would go so far that he is one of the 4 guys interviewing that he is referring to based on the wording. He basically says BMac is a possible name to kind in mind and then mentions 4 guys are interviewing next week. Now he may be 1 of the 4 but you would think if that was the case he would have said BMac is one of 4 interviewing next week. He may very well interview and get the job but maybe everyone should wait till it happens to start acting like the sky is falling.
 
Okay, so if we’re going to continue going on random, meaningless tangents in this thread, let me propose a new debate topic:

Rank the Rocky movies from best to worst. I’ll start:

1) Rocky IV (Dude single-handedly ended the Cold War)

2) Rocky III
3) Rocky I
4) Rocky II
5) Rocky VI

















6) Rocky V (what an abortion of a movie)

Miggy Cabrera was an elite 5-tool player in the beginning of his career with the Marlins, he was an amazing player & will be a HOF’er IMO.

And I can’t say definitively that he wasn’t on roids because I don’t know him personally, but I highly highly doubt he ever used. When Miggy put on weight, it was primarily fat & not muscle lol

He’s one of the extremely highly gifted & talented players that could roll out of bed & hit 35+ homers & 120 RBI’s without trying too hard. He wasn’t much of a weight lifter from my understanding, @DMoney is one of the 20 or so Marlins fans that still exists (me included lol) & I bet he would tell you if Miggy felt like it, he could seriously play every position on the field except Pitcher & would be an All-Star at all of them too.

I don’t think Miggy was a juicer, he was just really really good & I would even argue he never reached his true potential due to the fact he wasn’t a big time fitness guy or at least wasn’t necessarily the most dedicated to being the best.

In all seriousness of all the people that got caught up in the PED thing of the McGwire\ Sosa era seeing Rafael get popped shocked me... I just never saw him in that way but it just goes to show you just never know who's doing what behind closed doors...
