Rudolph must love that thriving passing game at UF. If he wanted to play DB I would be less troubled by this

Had the chance to meet Jacques and his brother Javonte seabrooks at the Fla/Mia game. He is a well mannered young man he is a legit 6'2 210 lbs and he told me he really enjoyed himself. His brother is kinda short and frail looking 5'7 150lbs soaking wet. He says he is committed to FIU, He is being sold on that TY Hilton koolade.

Well FIU is a win-win for us. Better than staying with FSU and giving them the inside track.

Forgive me for asking, but what does Jacques project as? Yeldon? Mack Brown? Gurley? What kind of back are we talking about here? I feel like I'm missing all the hype.

Wait...what? Treon is playing safety at the Army game, but won't consider any school that doesn't let him play QB. WTF?

Treon never said that he wouldn't consider schools who wanted him elsewhere, as I recall.

He said if a school wanted him at QB and the situation was right then he would give them priority, or something to that effect.

I also don't think that one is over yet. Too many friends riding with us, and too much history with that family for us to be completely out of it.

Good work.

• Treon will make a nice slot WR or db at the next level. It's a shame we didn't this playmaking athlete due to the promise fsu gave him.

• Flipping Cecil would be huge. Early commitments are now following a trend. They usually don't bind, however but he is a Tenn. legacy. The fact that he even mentioned that "if something happened...." makes me think he will eventually flip to UM or another school.

He is a big power back. He isn't the complete package w/ incredible burst, acceleration and such, I don't think he is a 1st round talent. However, I do believe he will very productive in college and has the potential to rush for 800-1100 yards in college. He is a top ten rb in the nation for the 2015 class and would be a perfect compliment with Joseph Yearby.

I dont think he compares to any of the backs you mentioned.

I have said it before, some of these kids use absolutely no logic when making college decisions. They may take a visit, fall in love with the college life at a particular school, promises that the coach may have made, or picking what they may deem as the "it" school, but do not look at a situation where they can thrive and get an even better look by NFL scouts. I don't get it.

Just the type of back coley seems to like.

Actaully Patrick is a lot like RB TJ Yeldon, just not as refined yet. Remember Patricks highlights are as a freshman & Soph so he maybe strong but his speed training is not quite elite, but once he gets into a D1 S&C program like Utough under swasey he will be much faster. Not to mention Patrick is always running into 7 & 8 man fronts, and his olines have been suspect at Timber Creek.

During the FSU/Nevada game the announcers were commenting on Jimbo's "ability" to take a player and move him to a different position than where he was when he came in.

I can see it too. I think this kid will be a beast at the next level and better than Lane.

Would be cool if we could get him back.

To be fair, you're right. The highlights are of just his sophomore year and it's to early to tell. Patrick and Yeldon have similar builds and strength. They also show similirarties on tape. Yeldon is faster and showed better lateral movement in his film. I don't expect him to become drastically faster with our S&C program. I just don't believe his tape has warranted him comparison to two of the top backs in college football. Patrick also has an underrated line. They have size up there. Anything Patrick gets thrown at him, the same happened to yeldon. Two more big seasons for Patrick will be the dedicing factor. Hes off to a great start this year

Regardless, Patrick would be a huge grab by Hurlie Brown. He has the talent to come in and compete for the #2 RB spot as a freshman. Edwards and Crawford will obviously have something to say about that. Patrick, Scarlett, Tj Simmons, and James Allen are the rbs we have offered for the 2015 class. All are from Florida.

not singling you out Glory because their are others that do this also, but I don't understand why it matters or how anyone can legitimately try to project a kids NFL potential. That would be like me trying to predict which kids I see balling in optimist that will be AA in college. It's hard enough to project how good a kid will be at the next level to even attempt to project two levels ahead. College projections is all that should matter anyway iyam.
