A winning ACC record after 2 seasons isn't too much to ask for $16 million over 2 years. But hey, I guess we should be happy with consecutive 3-5 ACC records IF we somehow beat Boston CollegeI just want to know what people thought they were getting with Mario? What were ppl expecting?
weak schedule and hes gimmicky. not sure hes going to build a perennial top 10 program . good coach though
Did you look Mario up before he was hired or bother to delve into his coaching record? If you did, you wouldn’t be shocked by any of this. Maybe you let yourself believe the his PAC-12 Covid championship was valid. Or the one Rose bowl win wasn’t just a one off.A winning ACC record after 2 seasons isn't too much to ask for $16 million over 2 years. They can’t. Every team has some gimmicks to them. We have been begging to put BS in wildcat. Guess what? That’s gimmicky.Gimmicky? Lol. Nah bruh. What does that even mean? Paul Johnson coached circles around the acc with the triple fu*kin option.
At the very least. The " gimmicky" coaches know how to use their specific talent in the right positions to execute the plays they scheme up.
Brohm running prostyle, with a lil spread, lil pistol. He's got some gimmick plays to keep you honest. As he should.
Wasn't nothing gimmick about lining up under fuqin center in 12 personnel and using play action pass to setup the run to the tune of 38 on our ***.
You gotta explain that gimmick shi*t to me bruh
Lol we still have posters in 2023 calling productive offenses “gimmicky”weak schedule and hes gimmicky. not sure hes going to build a perennial top 10 program . good coach though
They also didn’t **** the bed in crunch situations.Louisville didn’t exactly boat race any of these teams.
Did I ever say I was shocked by this? Yes, I saw him get his *** handed to him twice by Utah in 2021. Maybe you should take a reading comprehension course and not make assumptions that I'm shocked, rather just pointing out a sobering reality for the Mario slurpers.Did you look Mario up before he was hired or bother to delve into his coaching record? Have you looked at Louisvilles ACC schedule this year?In his first season at Louisville, Brohm has won 10 games, but more importantly he was won 7 ACC games. With one game left in season 2, Mario has won a grand total of 5 ACC games...2 of those in OT against Virginia. Even if we beat Boston College, far from a given, Mario would need to win his first ACC game in year 3 just to equal Brohm's first season. SMDH
I mean yeah no **** so would I lolI'd happily trade.
We must trust the process bro...In his first season at Louisville, Brohm has won 10 games, but more importantly he was won 7 ACC games. Exactly.I'm curious what their ACC record would be if they didn't avoid UNC, FSU, Clem, and Duke with their starting QB.
No we didn’t. The program has never been in such bad shape that it needs a 10 year rebuild.I’ll say one thing in defense of Mario…sorta
What we needed was a complete implosion of the program and a rebuild from top to bottom
All we’ve been doing is trying to find bandaids flying by the seat of their pants
So that’s what he chose to do
Problem is with such an approach, he hasn’t shown me that he’s trustworthy enough to pull it off
