So what happened to Franchise...

Some people take this board and posting in it seriously. You post something wrong or make a stupid prediction just say I had a brain fart, apologize and move on. Nobody knows everything. It is not a contest for the brightest mind or the best football knowledge.

Like many, I have posted things I would rather retract. If I do, I admit I was wrong and take my loss and don't think about it twice. I'm still the same person in life after posting a wrong info/idea/opinion as I was before posting it LOL

Chise actually accepted a very high level position in the Biden Administration while starting a family. He misses keeping each and every one of you in line with his sharp wit and even sharper tongue but simply just doesn't have the time to do so....for now. Tread lightly in the interim if you're smart as he still hears all...

He stopped posting after the Figueroa thing but he blames the Mods and Maude’s with that ban incident from months before. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Some people think there should be different rules for them and their friends than everyone else as it relates to insults. For a long time it was that way and it did more harm than good to the board.

I liked Chise and I have come to know his posting style for over 20 years. We agreed on many things but also disagreed on many others. He did have a very sharp tongue and had no tolerance for posts he thought to be dumb or very wrong. It does alienate posters though.

Look as an Original Grassy poster, Canestime in 2001 with we all getting Tee’s from Grassy and Mike, than of course they ever hated by all you guys Canesoverhere (Randall) there is reason some just watch and do not post. I don’t know why people ever would call a long time poster who has been going 52 years of Cane football a troll. Banner to this day calls me the Troll cause I’m short bearded and look like one. I just don’t like the name calling and negativity. But I believe you can do whatever is allowed and if you don’t like it don’t participate. I’m fine on this board I just almost always keep my mouth shut… by the way I just saw Fl fired Mullens… there goes Kiffen…next up. Not like us they will jump fast.

Depends for me. But he would sometimes interject himself in ways that really would degrade a thread to ***** flinging and buffoonery. And people that enjoyed his shtick weren't typically the recipients of it. If you disagreed with him you were likely a target of his ridicule. Most dared not spar with him and would just sit back and enjoy him ridiculing others or joined him ridiculing those he disagreed with.

While you are certainly welcome to your opinion I don't think that Chise was the type to ruin a discussion. There is plenty of that here without Franchise. As far as your opinion of Chise goes you're entitled to that obviously. He is a polarizing figure no question. You either love the guy or hate him. There isn't any middle ground with him. It's my opinion however that this board is much more interesting with him around but to each his own.
