How did that help us other than to pat ourselves on the back for being great fake detectives and not being part of a signing day hat game? Its not about being a genius move. Its about saying that Im pretty confident they thought this through. These guys arent morons, and this isnt their first rodeo. NOR is it their first time dealing with BTW and the Harris clan. Barrow, Hurlie and Coley know the deal down here. These guys didnt just up and decide to offer Treon without thinking about it. My FIRST guess, is that they are looking to take a 3rd QB in this class, and KNEW that if they didnt at least give Treon a courtesy offer, it would look bad, not becuase they think he would take it, but for the community's sake and people who may feel that we are disrepsecting the "local kid". Edouard was dropped. That was plain as day. They werent going to flat out pull the ship, but they did everything possible to nudge him elsewhere, so its clear they never had any intent to have him be the 3rd Qb. And AFTER he left, we did NOT really go after any other QBs, so there is NOTHING to suggest we intended to take 3 QBs in this class. Once we got Kaaya and Rosier, Edouard was pushed out. And we havent gone after any other QBs til now to replace him.
