So, I guess VT is our greatest rival based on ^
If a rivalry is defined as two teams' fans hating each other equally, then everybody is our rival.
There, isn't that better?

We have more rings and more head to head wins than both UF and FSU despite their win streak . **** what they gotta say they'll always be little brother

If a rivalry is defined as two teams' fans hating each other equally, I don't think we really have a traditional rival.
Until we beat them they can say whatever they want.

No, you missed the point. We have several one sided rivalries. Most opposing fans see Miami (FL) as another game on the schedule. The closest thing we had to a real rivalry was Notre Dame in the 80s. There was good hatred on both sides of that one.
I've been to probably 10 games in Tallahassee and seen how their fans act when Miami comes to town. If how they act isn't because of a rivalry then I feel really bad for them. They can down play it all they want but they absolutely hate Miami. Unless this whole thing is about asking kids under 25 years old. Ask any older fans and they know what's up.So, I guess VT is our greatest rival based on ^

When we smack them around this year that will change. I can see their wheels falling off soon.

No, you missed the point. Everybody hates Miami. They talk like we're the bane of college football, a team of thugs and drug dealers. Every team we play pretends that we're irrelevant, then acts like it's the fricken super bowl if they win. And I, personally, hate every other team on the face of the earth for thinking Miami is morally bankrupt while ignoring the raping and other sht that gets swept under the rug at other schools.
So, by your definition, we have a rivalry with everybody.
What's weird is right now we have no real rivals. We haven't won ****, haven't done ****! We haven't been a threat to anyone. In fact, we never really had a rival; ALL OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL WAS OUR RIVAL. Every school. They knew it. Their fans new it. The media knew it. And we didn't care. Those of you too young to really grasp this just don't get it, because if you did, you wouldn't care now. Rivalries? No, Championships!
Oklahoma, Nebraska, Washington, Penn State, Texas, Michigan (Walsh to Irvin)...Canes kicked *** everywhere and most teams refused to play us after a few *** whoopings: Spurrier, Switzer, Paterno, etc. Schools removed us from their schedule.
The only team that recognized how good we were for them and all of college football was FSU. The winner played for the national championship! But we ****ed that rivalry up by hiring Shalala and others.
So let the media and fan bases of other schools talk about how they're out of our league and we're not invited to the party. News flash: we were never invited. We crashed and took over.
