I've been following college football since the 1970s and I've seen my share of DBs who were stellar in college but didn't pan out in the
NFL because of limitations....whether it was because of size, speed, whatever...

It didn't stop them from being very productive college DBs.

Howard and several of his DB teammates were recruited by all the big boys, and now we hearing from these "unnamed" sources
that they can't play?

Howard's problems are his and his alone. There's a reason that Corn Elder, shorter and less highly recruited, is taking up a lot of Howard's playing time. Elder tackles 100 times better than Howard, who can't seem to hit a stationary object in space when trying to tackle.

Howard went from #1 CB in the country to a slug who can't run our overcome his limitations. Howard, Bush, Burns, and Carter could have gone to any school that they wanted, but chose Miami, and haven't done jack **** on the field.

But your Golden-slurping dvmbass will look toward one player who is having a solid season as a reason to blame the players and not the coaches.

nothing to do with golden slurping.. Elder is playing better than Howard. I know it hurts to see that a 5* isn't living up to his ratings.

Yes this is True...Tracy has never been a speedy corner...but the kid studies his film and has great instincts...
The scheme does not cater to his talents at all...

When your D-coordinator fears getting beat over the top...makes you understand why Tracy rarely gets reps....
They like gunter because he is a sure tackler (in space most times) and corn elder is a **** of an athlete, they like
burns cuz of his speed...Tracy would do well in another school...he would get a chance to use his cover skills and

Yes this is True...Tracy has never been a speedy corner...but the kid studies his film and has great instincts...

What do you think is more likely at this point? That our corches went on an unheard of run of consecutive strike outs in recruiting the corner position or that those corches and their "system" create the lack of confidence and awareness among the unit? I think the answer is clear at this point to anyone who did not graduate from Penn State.
