So JT4 wants back in?

Like the Pouncey Twins. Devonta Freeman. Joey Bosa. I can go all day naming pro bowlers that got protected from suspensions in college. Not to mention the countless other guys who we have no idea got protected and are shining in the NFL today. Coaches don't come out and say "player A committed a crime, but I covered it up for him".

Sam bruce doesn't fit your narrative because he was disciplined twice. You think if Manziel was only suspended a couple times in college he would have did well in the NFL?

You like to state coincidence as fact. So do you think it is a coincidence that the coaches that have the most lax attitude towards discipline produce the most NCs? Jimbo, Dabo, Meyer, and Saban?

You've been arguing discipline doesn't help which is false. Period. Sure it doesn't help everyone but it clearly works with some.

It is a very real comment. Only nitwits benefit from discipline such as the people in the RV park you surround yourself with.
I clarified in a later comment. Yes, it is good to discipline janitors and other easily replaceable employees. However, you do not discipline people who are very difficult to replace.
I'd have to disagree with you OGH. It's been my experience that no one is indispensable. Those that believe they are, more often than not, are blindsided by those that believe they're not. Seen it many times.

And you are the same guy that thought Richt was a good coach! LMAO. Maybe once you get a real job you will learn how life works. Easily replaceable employees are disciplined. Difficult to replace employees are not, unless they start to cost the company more than they are bringing in.

You've got a thread full of adults telling you that discipline can be effective. But they're all wrong.

And since when is Jeff Freaking Thomas not easily replaceable?

You have proven absolutely nothing. You named a few guys who were successful that also happened to be disciplined.

On thanksgiving I smoke a cigar. Then I went for a long run on Friday morning. Does that mean my smoking a cigar helped me go for a long run?

I have seen it dozens of times at my job. The guys who pull in tons of money for the company can do whatever they want.

Congrats on the worst analogy in the history of the internet.

You probably don't remember me, but I met you back in 2000 when you were with the Penguins. I was a much younger lad then and only a wee bit tall. How's life treating ya these days? I was disappointed that no NHL teams picked you up this past off-season. **** league is full of crooks anyways.

And you have threads full of guys telling you Richt sucks and you still stick with your main theory. All of these posters can clearly be easily replaced. Otherwise they would not be thinking the way they do.

Jeff Thomas is not easily replaceable. He is one of the better receivers in the league. This isn't like a janitor position that you can put out an advertisement and find a replacement in a few days.

If Jeff Thomas is going to be a head case who quits every team he's on, then he is in fact easily replaceable.

You guys are kidding yourselves if you think players would be offended if he returned to the team. This isn’t a Hollywood film - most of these cats are friends and definitely knew this dude was going to leave and would still welcome him back.

Ah, that explains it. You're relying on anecdotal evidence. Common mistake.

As are you. I am referring to the most profitable companies in the country. You think it is a coincidence that every single one uses this style of discipline? Look at all the trouble Jeffries investment bank went through to defend Sage Kelly. The guy was literally walking into the office blacked out on drugs and took a schit on his office floor. Yet they let him stay on RIGHT UP UNTIL he ended up in a lawsuit and all of this came to the publics eye. At that point his antics were costing the company more than he was bringing in.

There are 330 million people in America and you're using one guy's story to make your point?

Hey bro, that's called privilege that comes from rank, position or attained value. But actually no one is indispensable, though sometime there absence is the company's down fall.
