Desert time is critical in young persons formation, going home and watching college and NFL knowing you probably played your last game does wonders.
Especially when you go to the store for your mom and seeing the bagboy ask you paper or plastic and he’s a 25-30 year old or watch some roof , labor work , makes your mind a **** of a lot clearer of what you had.

Like the Pouncey Twins. Devonta Freeman. Joey Bosa. I can go all day naming pro bowlers that got protected from suspensions in college. Not to mention the countless other guys who we have no idea got protected and are shining in the NFL today. Coaches don't come out and say "player A committed a crime, but I covered it up for him".

Sam bruce doesn't fit your narrative because he was disciplined twice. You think if Manziel was only suspended a couple times in college he would have did well in the NFL?

You like to state coincidence as fact. So do you think it is a coincidence that the coaches that have the most lax attitude towards discipline produce the most NCs? Jimbo, Dabo, Meyer, and Saban?

Manziel has basically been blackballed from the NFL, had his GF accuse him of beating her, and is an alcoholic. Really Successful

Can you read? I said IF manziel was suspended. Do you think that would magically make him succesful? No. The guy would have been a bust regardless.

I do not know for sure but anyone in their right mind, who just walked off the football team, after being one season away from the NFL, has to be wondering what the heck they just did!!!

Or if they did something incredibly stupid to be told to leave the team-same thing. He has no one to blame but himself and he knows it.

I promise you this kid is crying his heart out right now as he realizes the trouble his bone-headed behavior has gotten him into.

I think it is too late for him. He needs to sit a year and start over with another team.

Wait.....what? Discipline is precisely why Alabama is the most dominating team in college sports. Saban will lay into any coach or player who isn't performing to the expected standard. If you don't understand what "discipline" is, then you probably shouldn't be commenting.

It is a very real comment. Only nitwits benefit from discipline such as the people in the RV park you surround yourself with.
I clarified in a later comment. Yes, it is good to discipline janitors and other easily replaceable employees. However, you do not discipline people who are very difficult to replace.

If yelling at someone is what you consider discipline. That is fine. Actually handing out punishment is what I am referring to. Saban only hands out punishment to scrubs. Players get arrested for firearms violations and don't miss games.

Then again, you are the same guy who said "Jacory is ballin' in the CFL" even though Jacory's last pass in the CFL was in 2015.
 
Football is the ultimate team sport. No one player is bigger than the team.

I'm all for second chances. I've had a couple in my time. If the majority of the team is willing to give JT4 a second chance, I'm all for it.

Obviously, he won't play today. Is that enough consequence, or should there be more if the team agrees to allow him to return?

And you are the same guy that thought Richt was a good coach! LMAO. Maybe once you get a real job you will learn how life works. Easily replaceable employees are disciplined. Difficult to replace employees are not, unless they start to cost the company more than they are bringing in.

What is this nonsense about Jaromir not having a real job? I assure you NHL ain't no joke man. This man played many of years in the National Hockey League. At a pretty high-level if I might add.
