So called pundits

Scary aspect of Cam no one is talking about is that his qbr goes way down after 2.5 sec of time to throw. Is he really a guy who makes good decisions the longer he has the ball in his hands? Break downs show he can be prone to force balls in to coverage and some times lobs it up for grabs after extending plays. When the ball is out of his hands under 2.5 secs he makes better decisions. What will our offense really be...will we have an east west ball out quick type of pass game all year because of this?
I get what the stats say but he was also running for his life because WSUs oline was trash. We on the other hand have one of the best lines in the nation. I suspect that number will go way up this year for him.

A lot of the pundits think Cam Ward will be rattled by the environment at the swamp. I don’t ever remember hearing so much about a stadium before a game.
This is one thing I keep hearing repeatedly. If there is anyone who's confidence won't be shaken it's Cam. Does that mean he won't turn the ball over? No but to act like he's gonna **** his pants at a stadium filled with denim is hilarious. Canes 31-17 - gaytors get a cheap one late. This will be A&M 2.0

To add to the pundits I have seen this week:

Josh Pate - Miami by a FG
Max Chadwick from PFF - 31 - 24 Miami
Dalton Wasserman from PFF - 34 - 27 Miami
JD Pickell - 29-26 Florida ("but Miami is a playoff team")
Andy Staples - Miami
Greg McElroy - Miami
Ruffino & Joe show both picked UM. One said it'll be close in score, the other said it'll be close but eventually Miami wins by more than a TD

Ahh yes forgot about them.

Both of them also picked Cam Ward as their Heisman bet and one had Martinez winning the Doak Walker award.

Rick Neuheisel will NEVER pick Miami to win. He's been salty since 2001's 65-7 beat down.

There are other picks too.

Josh Pate - Miami
JD Pickell - UF
Chris Hummer - Miami
Brad Crawford - Miami
Dennis Dodd - UF
Tom Fornelli - UF
Chip Patterson - UF
Shehan Jeyarajah - Miami
David Cobb - Miami
Jerry Palm - UF
Brandon Marcello - UF
Richard Johnson - Miami UF (changed his mind apparently)

Fornellli is a ***** boy

Fornellli is a ***** boy
Agreed. I also think that Chip Patterson looks at conference to make his picks before he even looks at the teams.

Neuheisel is the biggest ***** of them all though. He will never get past the 2001 game. He's picked against Miami in literally every game since.

Chip is a UNC fan at heart so I know he'll dig at UM whenever he can.

Tom loves taking shots at teams whose fans are high on their teams. He picked UM to go over 9.5 so he has us losing this game and another? **** outta here tubby

Notre Dame was shook and they admitted it.
Good. **** Notre Dame! Were they shook when they got off the bus and walked in our stadium? I doubt it. Or, did they get shook once the game began and we started kicking the **** out of them and they realized they ran into a buzzsaw? We were the better team that year and were playing our best football up to that point. Our stadium and fans had nothing to do with them losing.

ND was a pretty good team, but was overrated. Going into that game, ND was ranked higher than us and predicted to win by most pundits, although they had already lost a game. We were ****ed that we were undefeated, yet still fighting for playoff spot. We were on a mission that game. Yeah, they absolutely were shook after the *** kicking we game them. Although our crowd was electric that game, I don't think it had much to do with Notre Dame losing.

The point it, the better team usually wins, no matter where the game is played. We are better than Florida this year. If we somehow lose this game, it will be due to self-inflicted wounds, not their stupid stadium or fans.

When you compare stats, it really jumps out how lopsided the two defenses are going to be in this game.

Along the DL UF has returners who accounted for 128 Tackles 5.5 sacks 1 FF and 2 passes defended. The bulk of the numbers were generated by Joey Slackman in the ivy league. What is more concerning for the gators is there is zero production on the bench behind their starters

The Miami DL (Mesidor stats from 2022) 140 tackles 19 sacks 5 FF. What's crazy is the numbers in the two deep are similar. Our second team DL has more production than their first team

LB is 73 tackles and a sack for UF vs 108 tackles with 9.5 sacks 2 FF and an INT for the Canes with Alderman on the bench and his numbers are better than Shemar James. If you move Alderman to the starting role the comparison is laughable. We have two guys on the roster who are more productive at every category than their best returning player.

DB is the only place UF can even claim anything. I put Jadais Richard at the 2nd corner spot and because of that UF has some stat advantages.
UF came in at 118 Tackles 1 sack 2 int and 17 PD
Miami 96 tackles 3 int 10 PD but if you swap Hill for Richard those numbers are 137 Tackles 4 INT 1FF 20 PD. I did not put DJ Douglas in their 2 Deep as he is not the projected starter, but he does have production at Tulane that would even it out a bit.

Even at DB the biggest problem for UF is that there isn't anything behind their starters. At least we have Hill and OJ pushing along with Markeith and Zaquan.

I haven't heard any noise from the UF side about the guys behind the starters except the interior DL but they aren't play makers they are gap fillers just like their staters.

Bottom line is when you look at proven production on defense the gap between Miami and UF is significant with the 1s and even more pronounced with the 2s especially in your game changing categories like sacks and TOs.

**** that old inbreeder & neushil(however the **** u spell it). By the way Rick that's not a positive that he's got one of his Wisconsin weapons with him. The dude sucked *** at Wisconsin. My only concern with this game relates to the crowd and the short middle of the field. If we drop linebackers & keep corners on an island. Gonna have to be versatile on blitz packages cause mertz strength is the short third. If the line is able to get home without help it's gonna be a long day for buddy and we probably see a lot of lagway(who they're gonna have a package or two in for regardless)

Same energy as anyone picking Florida.

I don’t know man. If you watch Brian Kelly’s pregame interview he looked like a deer in headlights. I think they were shocked by the environment.

I work in finance and don't know **** about sports betting, but something about that line seems off to me.

We're favored by only 2.5 points. That's practically nothing.

Our over/under win total is 9.5, Florida's is 4.5. That's a FIVE GAME difference.

So the market thinks we're five games better than UF, but head-to-head it's basically pick 'em?

I mean it's either that, or they think 10 wins in the ACC is equal to 5 wins in the SEC, which is stupid. Or maybe they think the Swamp is THAT much of an advantage.

It's just weird and what it says to me is that nobody knows what the **** to expect.
