Trump should be there also
Why would President Trump be at a convention with democrats? He doesn’t support any of their socialist, anti- American agenda.

You know the answer to this. But you also should know that it is blatantly obvious that POTUS is going after the individuals, not the entire group. If you have an issue with him, that's your prerogative ,however, let's be straight up here and actually use valid arguments other than, "That's racist!"

I'm actually not familiar with the specifics here, I pay surprisingly little attention to this type of "news". If the president is involved, that's not really surprising, but that wasn't my point.

Yes, people claim racism for things that aren't, but then again, people say racist stuff then claim it's not. Some would argue that the latter has been going on for all of human history and the former just started a few years ago. Whatever. I'm trying to figure where you fall on the continuum. You say it's a matter of thinking one race is superior to another, but that seems simplistic to me. It strikes me as a way to allow people to say/do lots of racist stuff without getting in trouble for it. Even if that's not your intent, this type of black and white (unintended) statement is easily used to mask a lot of racist stuff. Like yeah, I walked around making slanty eyes and saying "ching-chang-chong" all afternoon, but I never said one race was better than another so I wasn't being racist.

Anyway, since you brought it up I was interested to see what your thoughts were on the matter. I've written a lot and you've written very little, so I imagine this conversation isn't very interesting to you. I'm going to go back to mocking people whose opinions about football don't align with mine.

Cheers.

All thats wrong with sports and society. Dude can openly call someone a racial slur and there is very little backlash but let the shoe be on the other foot and heads roll. Bigotry of lower expectations strikes again. Just should be just across the board.
QP doesn’t understand his privilege.

It's not overly simplistic, that's the literal definition as per the Miriam Webster Dictionary.

FWIW, POTUS talks crap about any and everyone he doesn't like. I think it's childish. But racist? Nah.

Either way, where I fall on it is simple: every ethnicity has their scum bags and there is no ethnicity that's exempt from that. I, personally, am about one's character and no more than that. Do I judge by appearance? Sure. As does everyone else. But that has to do with how they present themselves, not the color of skin.

Nobody here can speak FOR someone else, including the POTUS. You can have your opinions on him. Nobody can tell you NOT to have opinions. But lets not misconstrue opinions and feelings for facts. Just like I can't tell you if AB did this. Do I think he did? No clue. Is it possible due to the position of power and privilege that elite athletes have? Absolutely.

Lmfao

You voted for a white supremacist who is spending his time in office making fake weather reports, and you cry about antonio brown

It’s extremely predictable
Man, he must really suck at being a white supremacist. He keeps doing things to help black folk. Someone should tell him he's doing a bad job....
