Slightly OT: Mike Badgley doing Mike Badgley things...

Badgley cost us a few for sure.

Not sure how you miss an extra point.

I can live with a kicker that can't win you a game. I can't live with one that loses you games. That was always my issue with Badgley. His perceived personality/body language and all that other stuff is irrelevant.

We really got cats in here defending a guy that can't make a PAT while making $700,000 a year.

Cost us a few what? Games? FSU 2016 and a gimmie last year against Wisconsin was all I could think of. Even if he makes that shorty last year who knows if Miami comes back.

He’s perfect on field goals and a rookie for ***** sake. He’s come in and done a nice job for a playoff contender. There is no reason to hate on him up to this point.

FSU 2014 missed XP and a chip shot FG. And we lost by exactly that margin.

Lets look at a pro bowl kicker from last year.

Boswell (Pitt) has missed 4 XP's this year and 3 FG's

Pat in the pros are like field goals now plus the goal poles aren't as wide.kicking extra points and field goals in a pressure situation isn't easy.great field goal kickers are worth their weight in gold.

While I always thought Badgley was a good kicker here, he was oddly inconsistent on short range kicks. Dude would nail two 45 yard kicks and miss a 24 yard kick.

Also XP% for the entire NFL is 94%. So, missing one of his first 11 attempts isn't exactly horrible.

Badgley was statistically a good kicker here. But his errors came at the WORST possible times.

Judging by this thread, OP must not be great at math. Justin Tucker missed an XP this year that cost the Ravens the game, I'm sure Texas fans had threads on their boards talking him down.
