Silvera

Look. They already said they aren't placing a timetable on his return until he comes out of surgery. We have no idea how serious it is. Tua had foot surgery last year and was back in two weeks. People here already throwing the kid a redshirt. Even if it's something significant. He wasn't even a starter. His experience consists of garbage time minutes against FIU and Savannah state. Losing him hurts but it's nowhere near as bad as some of you cry babies are calling it. Some dude literally said "adjust your win total"???? Didn't think a backup DT had THAT much impact on a game.

While the time table is unclear, preliminary reports indicate that Nesta will give Park Slope Dee a swirly and then stuff him in a trash can when he returns to a full practice schedule.

I said it in the other thread, but I dont think we see him this season.

Chigoze, Ford, and Miller are formidable. Hate to lose that Nesta energy, tho.

I imagine we roll Hill or Garvin inside for certain packages as well.

Lol how are you imagining that??

I could see Garvin inside for obvious passing downs. Didn't we slide Chad Thomas inside occasionally?

Yes but that was to get Garvin on the field on 3rd downs....I just don't really see the benefit of putting your best edge rusher inside.

Chad was also a bit bigger than Garvin. I doubt we'll see this happen unless 2 other edge rushers emerge who are just ridiculously good, or out of complete necessity. Maybe for a couple snaps, but we were doing that in 2017 on basically every passing down.

I;m Basing it om I dont remember him even playing against anybody last year and Ford and Silvera are better then him
Ford and Silvera can be better than him and he still can be ready for minutes. Miller has completely transformed his body and no longer looks like a fat slob, kid put in a ton of work and could put himself in the rotation. He needed to redshirt last year.
