Classic example of how people will go out of their way to attempt to find a negative in any situation. Why would we need an IPF in the spring, in Miami of all places.

I made no attempt to find a negative. It’s called lightning, which is the primary reason for the facility, not to get out of the **** heat. The heat is our advantage. Your thinking along with someone else who quoted me only makes us softer as a team. The IPF will be most beneficial spring through summer when the alarms sound for lightning. MR has already spoken about this extensively concerning the IPF Homey.

IIIRC, Richt said they'd only be practicing inside if weather was an issue. Greentree will still be used when no lightning threat is imminent.

Also, never listen to any CIS construction engineers. The ones saying the IPF will take forever are the same people who tried to convince us that HRS wouldn't be done in time and we were going to have to play home games in Orlando or at FIU.

Didn't the armchair engineers/architects with deep backgrounds in Miami-Dade and Coral Gables permitting around here claim this would take 14 years and 3 months to actually finish?

I remember the turds claiming the same ****. Same crap faces who always have negative spin for anything UM.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rick use the IPF strategically throughout the summer to occasionally give the team a break from getting run into the ground by the heat.

Richt has addressed concerns about lightning regarding fall camp. Miami does not have a lightning issue in March; it's dumb to imply otherwise. Please provide the proof of Richt complaining about lightning in the spring. If you provide receipts, I will take the L. Until then, maybe sit out a couple of plays, just to collect yourself.

Yep. Same type of turds that were seemingly posting weekly about the continued fundraising for it under the guise of "just wondering" but obviously trying to imply that it'd either not happen or be severely delayed.

Richt isn't a moron. The team will utilize the IPF when he deems necessary. Anyone who thinks it will be an issue just wants to complain about something.

The weather sucks every afternoon in August so they will be using the IPF quite a bit.

Almost guaranteed to be used every afternoon. That alarm goes off at least once a day, usually in the afternoon. Those bad boys usually roll in seems like from the south and east a lot.

This IPF is gonna take us to the next level as a program. Practice is important for the development of the team and especially for the tru freshman coming in. Those 10 extra practices a is gonna show up next year in late October early November.

Tell you what though, that building in Doral costs 5M....only UM would pay 35M or whatever for what is basically a glorified warehouse. Construction expense at the U is a joke.

Why so defensive? Trust me, it's significantly overpriced

I’m not defensive at all, but I am allergic to bullshlt, and I’m not taking your word for it. You’re comparing some warehouse structure to an IPF .... two completely different structures with different purposes and different construction. So unless you have the construction spec sheets for each build, with materials, costs, labor, electrical, etc, etc, and can compare and contrast two completely different buildings, you’re just another dude blowing hot air.

If you were to compare 2 IPFs you might have an argument, or at least a better one depending on the areas.
