Unfortunately it will not pay its biggest dividends until spring 2019 since we will not have it this spring but I’m just glad we will finally have one.

Classic example of how people will go out of their way to attempt to find a negative in any situation. Why would we need an IPF in the spring, in Miami of all places.

He was straight forward about needing to continue to recruit top talent to be at baga's level. They are the standard that we and gawga are chasing. Thanks to Richt, gawga was already close. If we, gawga, fsu and lizards can keep talent home, the playing field will level out. We just have to win a couple more at home recruiting battles and do a better job recruiting DT's.
 
May through October is the rainy season in Miami so August puts it right in the middle. Just in time for Fall camp.

Not true... It will pay big dividends during the season... We've had to literally cancel practices in the middle of gameweek in the past, which puts us at a disadvantage... Thats not going to happen anymore and we should be glad for it. GO CANES!!
 
Just waiting for the porsters that say the IPF will make the team soft because they’ll have more indoor practices.

i mean... there's a little bit of truth to that. i wouldnt make a big deal out of it, personally. but, i also wouldnt deny its potential to be a factor... albeit one that can be overcome

I hear you, but you already know it’s mainly to avoid lightning interruptions.

You also know there is no science to making players practice to over exhaustion in heat, in fact, it’s a detriment to proper training.

I’m not talking about practicing very hard, and acclimatizing to heat and humidity which we do anyway. But the the old days of dehydrating and over-exhausting players in 110° temps at 90% humidity to the point of passing out and vomiting are over. I lived through those days in both football and track and it’s a miracle nobody died and I’m not even kidding. Nobody knew what they were doing back then.
