Oh ****. Here we go again with another lets switch X player's position.
100 days until our next game...this makes for good filler

Huh?No, but Jeff Thomas would be a first rounder if he was a corner.
Huh?
Him getting buried on the depth chart? Or moving to receiver?I highly doubt that happens
Yes I know he played db in high school and was solid but I wouldn’t go as far as him being an elite db. East St Louis had a guy named Terry Hawthorne who was a top 100 recruit who played WR and CB. Went to Illinois and was a CB there. Played well got drafted but injuries derailed his pro career. Illinois ****ed it up putting him at CB when they should have made him a WR. He had first round written all over him if he played WR in college.Check out he highlight tape from HS. His DB skills was awesome. He's a good WR, very good, but he would have been Jim Thorpe award good at DB.
I think Derrick Smith could actually do a job at corner if we get desperate. As a freshman he played in the slot a bit and made a few nice plays against Clemson and others. He's long enough and maybe even fast enough, so I think he's actually the best candidate on the roster to move over to corner even though we might want him more at Safety
It worked out for Sam Shields.Lmao @ moving Wiggins or Harley to CB...
Neither one of them have ever played DB even in HS for 7v7 ball, but move them to CB in college while they've already spent all their training & reps at WR.
Smh lol, gotta love this board.
This was a kickoff, not a fade throw into the end zone
