Brother if you wanna have the conversation with yourself then just tag yourself. Why ask a question and then answer it. I've been said this season is gonna be more about a possession game. I said that with Emory, Mendoza or anyone else(even with mateer being targeted) that would've been the outlook. Might be a lil more open than I would've thought. But we are going to be primarily based on a safe game. People like y'all who look for every lil thing to ***** about will still find something to ***** about. So simply get ready. You see a scapegoat in my response? By now this team should be good enough that we can compete on any level. A failure to do so is a direct reflection on mario... You get that? Don't know why you constantly try to bait people into arguing. I'm not into that. You do you.

People struggle to comprehend what a team game is... They sit here and they complain about the QB, about the wrs, about the DBS, anything imaginable. All of it gives us the bigger picture for what this team can become. The optics is something for fans to complain about. You think the team gets caught up in a #1 wr in the portal or any of that? All we need is a serviceable QB, a solid offensive line(far more important if ur QB is just serviceable), solid running game and kids who catch the ball when it's in their hands. Roll that logic over for the defense. We don't care if we win by running the ball down people's throats or if we air it out. On defense it's as simple as keep em out of the chicken box. The moving parts aren't relevant in that. We'll be fine because long as we stay healthy. Weare solid where it matters on offense and defense. Lb & tackle being where we need to see development. Same as any other squad.

This team is deep IMO. Better all around talent throughout the roster. If Mario really is a talent evaluator that is believed, we will see a bunch of 2nd and 3rd year guys take that step. I believe it will happen. The defense will be so much better than last year, thats pretty much a guarantee.

I agree the defense should be better. Elements of the team may be deeper, but the defense was hot garbage and the weak spots were predictable - so being better is not a high hurdle. We also lost a true QB1, RB1, TE1 and multiple WRs… and 2 OL… we have a lot to replace. Our QB1 can’t throw yet.

Nearly no one fails to comprehend it is a team game, and what the team can become - we’ve been discussing what the team can become for quite some time..

I just enjoy the storytelling in this thread …

#2 one of the QBs is gonna transfer out. I'd imagine that'll be emory if one does cause judd was a back up regardless.

#3 Carson beck is still on vacation essentially. Isn't around enough to build on team bonds

#4 lofton is taking over at h back/tight end(writing was definitely on the wall, but he confirmed it)

Brother everyone's gonna have an opinion. Some people's are based on actual experience like you just quoted here and then others are simply people who have ***** ways and need to speak their truth. No matter what the back story is here I can't see him being able to become a liability because I know we're not gonna have another faith in him #1 that he can negatively affect us unless he just flat out decides he doesn't want an NFL career. A positive outcome is in his best interest just as much as it is ours.
