As previously stated, great feet and balance. I also see underrated power and toughness. Has a real desire to get into the end zone when carrying the rock. @2:43 Matthew Thomas has him square in the hole and Yearby makes him whiff clean.

One of the most productive running backs to ever come out of Dade.

And people complain.

Some of those jukes would give Chris Berman a hard on.

Dude is an instinctive runner. Some of those cuts were so nasty it seemed as though the receivers could've been called for blocking in the back.

Yearby is fast, has great vision, and his footwork turned around defenders and made them grasp at air. But best of all, he stepped up, a la Duke, and said he's a Cane. No drama, no mind games. Let's get in this kid's corner.

You can tell Yearby has played running back his whole life. A lot of guys have played RB their whole lives, but his instincts and intangibles at the position are some of the best I've seen. Does things you just cant coach a guy to do. I don't hate the Gore comparison. He may not get as big as Gore has though. Also, great hands out of the backfield, an added weapon. Curious to see how he does in pass blocking as I'm sure he's rarely had to do it between playing rb and qb and it doesn't show up on his tape.

I really like Yearby out of the backfield. His feet are so quick and his body control is otherworldly.

He just needs to keep pounding the weights.

If James Coley wasn't on our staff

Yearby would be going to FSU
Dalvin Cook would be going to UF
Sanyo Michelle would be going to Georgia

Lucky lucky

Yearby > Cook.

Yearby better running back

Cook better football player

Cook is more athletic, not sure that makes him a better "football player."

Yearby seriously has to be the most underrated, under-appreciated player I've ever seen us recruit. You put a few pounds of muscle on this kid and he is going to absolutely slice teams up.

How many times have you seen the first guy bring Yearby down? That's what I'm saying. That's a football player. The guy has instincts like you wouldn't believe.

I like Cook too, but all I'm saying is if you're only getting one, I'm going with Yearby.

Gotta agree on the Gio Bernard. Very similar backs IMO.

I can see Gore in the pros as a decent comparison, but Gore is/was definately bigger. Solid inch or 2 and 20 pounds.

This kid has vision. He doesn't have game breaking speed but I'd take vision over speed any day and its not like he's slow. Kid just knows how to run, can't teach what he's got. He is always in space that he has generated, and its not like he is playing slouches. He is an instant impact player IMO, and will be ready to be the dude by his true Sophomore year.

I will be honest, I don't think he's quite on Dukes level, but I think he's closer than people think and he has been for a long time the slept on guy in this class. True, nationally elite, game breaker.

We gotta flip Cook. Yearby's shifty but the home run threat that Cook adds would make our offense ridiculous.

Maybe he'll realize they shouldn't be split up after they win the nat. ship.

Couldn't even make it one post without bringing up Cook. SMH at this fanbase.

No ****! Everybody in the country needs a Dalvin Cook! Guess what? Only one team is getting him and it probably aint gonna be us! Guess what also? Alot of teams in the country would LOVE to have Joseph Yearby! AND WE GOT HIM!

(Yes. I am getting tired of hearing about Dalvin Cook. Get over it. Buddy aint coming. I dont care if we beat UF 45-0. He has made it clear that he is not feeling us right now. If something changes then lets discuss him then.)

Cook aint flippin to us IMO, and the reason we want Cook is because of the 01 team had a stable of backs. Also because hes the goods, if we want to be UM again we gotta stack positions with not just talent elite talent. If Cook was from Utah or some **** we wouldnt care but since its a backyard back theres no excuses to missing him. Actually the NCAA cloud is a good excuse if not for that I would go ham on this staff, when thats over they better not miss elite guys down here. I want everyone
